*AN AYAH A DAY HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND ISLAM, INCREASES YOUR FAITH & BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO ALLAH*

*QURAN AYAH/VERSE*.
65. O people of the Scripture (Jews & Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim/Abraham (May Allah be pleased with him), while the Taurat/Torah & Injeel/Gospel were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense?
66. Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that of which you have no knowledge? It is Allah Who knows & you know not.
*QURAN 03 vs 65-66*.

*HADITH*.
Umar Bin Abi Salama (May Allah be pleased with him), narrated that, I was a boy under the care of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be on him) & my hand use to go around the dish while I was eating. So he said to me, *O boy! Mention the Name of Allah & eat with your right hand, eat of the dish that is nearer to you*. Since then, I applied those instructions when eating.
*SAHIH BUKHARI, BK. 65, HADITH NO. 7.288 (FOOD, MEALS)*.

*BROTHERS & SISTERS*,
We learn from the Hadith above about the ethics of eating. Let us teach our family while we perform our 5 daily Sallat on time, participate in the 6 days Shawwal fasting, offer our charity, make Dua/pray for our deceased parents, family and friends etc as well as those of us alive for Allah to grant us the good in this world & the ultimate best in the hereafter.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about the Grave.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik (ra) said: “When the Prophet (peace be upon him) died, there was a man in Al-Madinah who used to make a niche in the grave and another who used to dig graves without a niche. They said: ‘Let us pray Istikharah to our Lord and call for them both, and whichever of them comes first, we will let him do it.’ So they were both sent for, and the one who used to make the niche-grave came first, so they made a niche-grave for the Prophet (peace be upon him).”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 1557, Book 6, Hadith 125)

Salat ul Istikharah is an easy prayer to make and recommended for decisions and guidance. When you are unsure of anything, turn to Allah. You ask friends and family for advice, but don't forget to turn to the one who is the turner of hearts!

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Prophet (SAW)

Anas ibn Malik (RA) said: “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was neither very tall of stature, nor short. His skin was neither pale white, nor tawny, and his hair was neither crisply curled, nor lank. Allah (Exalted is He) sent him [to serve as His Messenger] at the end of forty years of life, so he stayed in Mecca for ten years and in Medina for ten years, and Allah took him unto Himself at the end of sixty years, with fewer than twenty white hairs on his head and in his beard.”

(Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 384, 385, Book 53, Hadith 6)

The Prophet (SAW) was amazing in every way, be sure to get to know him, his character and his life by making time to read the seerah and learn its lessons.
