ππππ ππ ππππ ππππ ππ πππππππ.
Growing up, my mother made me believe that if I eat this part of a hen because it was not even a chicken then I will be speaking pororo and gossiping around.
I love eating that part so much, I will just cut off that round opening for waste (We call it furo, yanshπ) and leave that pointed part of the back.
It is so soft and sweet without bones but as much as I love eating that part, I am a very confidential person. I can keep your secret with me to the moon. I don't talk much and anyhow, you must be a special person in my life before you hear me speak or crack jokes with you. I am very reserved.
Eating that side when growing up and nothing of doing gbeborun happening to me, I got to realize I was told a lie.
My mother may be right about that side for hygiene sake and health because body waste comes from that side but not with me speaking carelessly or gossiping around.
Abi could it mean that having a passion for writing everything I see around me was its effect on me?
She also said eating a hen leg will make you dey waka about. No one dragged those legs with me as a child then, but I never loved walking around. I don't go out with friends or play around. I hardly go to functions or events. Even if you invited me, if it is not important, I will find an excuse for not going. Up till now, I love staying indoors.
Eating a hen's leg and mouth never had any effect on me.
The biggest of all the shocking teachings and lies I was made to believe by my mother was that when I started menstruation, she told me that "Now, you are a woman. Don't allow any man to stay beside you. Don't allow any man to touch you, and don't allow any man to talk to you in a closed place, if you do, you will get pregnant." Gbam!π±
You need to see me that week, I never allow any of the other gender to stay beside me. Even when those who were my male friends called me then, I would run far away from them.
They began to get worried about me not until one of them crossed my way after school and asked me why I have been keeping my distance from them.
I then told him my mother said I would get pregnant if I allowed any man to stay beside me, touch me or even speak to me in a corner.
He burst into a laugh and I wondered what was making him laughβ¦..

Can you relate to that story?
Were you made to believe a lie when growing up that you later found out wasn't true?
Parenting in those days was full of lies, don't try that with children of this day.
If you tell the children of this day those lies, they would want to prove what is in a bottle called GIN.
If you tell them their private part is totoyo, they would want to see what is in the totoyo.
If you call a p***s for them a banana, they love bananas and would want to eat and taste them if truly they are bananas.
That is where the problem of this day's parenting begins with our teens and children.
Teach your children well, give them the right s*x education, let them know their bodies, and stop calling the part of their bodies what they are not.
Children are inquisitive and would want to find out what you are hiding from them.
Guide them at every stage of their lives and never raise them with lies.
Have a wonderful weekendβ€
