Bonjour, dear learners! 😊
Thank you so much for following and engaging with my French Daily Tips so far. Your support truly encourages me 💞

For now, I’ll be pausing the daily posts as I work on an important upgrade:
🎧 Adding voice notes to help with pronunciation!

A lot of you have asked for it, and I want to make sure I bring it in the best way possible, simple, clear, and helpful for everyone.

But I need your input as I work on this...

I'm considering two options:
1. A WhatsApp Channel where I’ll post daily tips + voice notes (no chat, just clean learning)

FRENCH DAILY TIPS with Eyinloju Creative World

DAY 30 — “La chambre” (The bedroom) 🛏️

Today, let’s learn simple French words for bedroom items and how to describe them in a sentence.

VOCABULAIRE DU JOUR — Bedroom Items

1. la chambre (lah shɑ̃br) — the bedroom

2. le lit (luh lee) — the bed

3. l’oreiller (lo-ray-yay) — the pillow

4. la couverture (lah koo-vehr-tewr) — the blanket

5. la lampe (lah lahmp) — the lamp

🗣️ PHRASE À PRATIQUER — Sentence to Practice:

➡️ Le lit est confortable.
(luh lee eh kon-for-tahbl)
Meaning: The bed is comfortable.

Pronunciation Tip:

Don't pronounce the final -e in confortable. In French, it’s more like kon-for-tahbl, not comfortable in English.

Try This Around You:

Walk around your room and say:
➡️ Voici le lit (Here is the bed)
➡️ C’est mon oreiller (This is my pillow)

Ask someone nearby what they call those things in their language too, it sparks fun convos!

✅ Practice Challenge:
🎯 Say the vocabulary aloud 3 times
🎯 Make 1 sentence about your bedroom using le lit or la lampe
🎯 Optional: Share a voice note or video saying your sentence (if you're up for it!)

DAY 29 — “La cuisine” (The kitchen) 🍽️

Aujourd’hui, on entre dans la cuisine, the kitchen! Let’s explore what we call some everyday kitchen items in French.

VOCABULAIRE DU JOUR — Kitchen-related words

1. la cuisine (lah kwee-zeen) — the kitchen 👩🏽‍🍳

2. l’assiette (lah-syett) — the plate 🍽️

3. la cuillère (lah kwee-yer) — the spoon 🥄

4. le couteau (luh koo-to) — the knife 🔪

5. la fourchette (lah foor-shett) — the fork 🍴

PHRASE À PRATIQUER — Sentence to Practice:

Je mets la fourchette sur la table.
(zhuh meh lah foor-shett syr lah tahbl)
Meaning: I’m putting the fork on the table.

Pronunciation Tip:

Words like cuillère can be tricky, break it slowly into kwee–yer and repeat it aloud several times!

Try This At Home:

As you set the table or cook today, point to an object and name it in French:
*Voici la cuillère
*Ceci est l’assiette

Involve your family or a colleague, teaching others helps you remember more!

✅ Practice Challenge:
🎯 Say each word aloud 3 times.
🎯 Make a sentence with at least one item.
🎯 Try labeling your kitchen items with sticky notes in French!

Bravo, tu progresses bien !
Tomorrow, we’ll move into “la chambre” — the bedroom. 🛏️

DAY 26 — PRONUNCIATION TIP: “É” vs “È”
(The difference in French "E" sounds)

These two letters may look similar, but their pronunciation is totally different and it matters!

“É” = Closed E
Sound: \e\ → “ay” (as in “play”)
It’s short, sharp, and clear.

“È” = Open E
Sound: \ɛ\ → “eh” (as in “bed”)
It’s more open and lower in the mouth.

Examples:

1. été (summer) — \e.te\ (ay-tay) ✅

2. père (father) — \pɛʁ\ (pehr) ✅

3. école (school) — \e.kɔl\ (ay-kol) ✅

4. mère (mother) — \mɛʁ\ (mehr) ✅

TIP to Remember:

If you see “é”, say it with a smile (sharp “ay”).

If you see “è”, drop your jaw slightly (soft “eh”).

Practice Tip:
Say aloud:
Été – Père – École – Mère

Notice how your mouth changes for é vs è.
