How To Get $50 To $200 Google Ad Credit With $10 Initial Payment To Run Your Google Ads Campaign
There are advantages you can get running Google Advert over Facebook Advert
You need to start with the right footing when you want to set up your Billing/Payment Settings in Google Ads
I have had a lot of bad experience with Google Ads which I don't want you to pass through
Hence, the reason I am creating this Google Ads Beginner Free Tutorials Series
The way you set up your Billing/Payment Settings in Google Ads is very different from Facebook
Facebook allows you to use your own Bank Visa/MasterCard that carries your own name on another Ad Account that is not your own
I do this a lot when I access Facebook Ad Manager Ad Account of a friend, family or colleague I use to run my Advert
Since, I am using my friends Account I am responsible for the payment of my ad
So, Facebook charges my own card
But you can never try that with Google Ads
It will lead to immediate suspension of your Google Ad Account
Firstly,when you are setting up your Billings/Payment
Ensure your name on your card is the same with your Google Account
For E.g If your name on your Google account is Adefemi Samuel Jacob
Your ATM Card and your account details must match it
Secondly,to avoid suspension of your Google Ad Account
Ensure you first use Manual Payment Method instead of Automatic Payment Method
As at 2018/2019 when I first started Google Ads
Google gives $50 upfront to start your advert
This is acheived by submitting your ATM Card and ensure you have about N1000 minimum so that Google can charge your account with $1 to test if your account can be automatically debited when you reach your $50 Threshold budget they gave you
The moment they can't charge you within 10 second
You will see the scary red color on your account
Your account has been suspended due to suspicious payment
This gave me and a lot of my team mates troubles because we were using the Automatic Payment Method
I had to go to my bank to complain
I was using GTB then and I was told they don't accept online International transactions again
Until I finally discovered how to solve this..
To avoid this heart break of Suspension of your account
Start with Manual Payment Method First by paying $10 or $20
This is a Prepaid option
If you decide to be using this option you won't have issues with Google
The moment your account is empty you will just fund it
But if you want to get the $50 Credit
Ensure to switch your Payment Settings to Automatic Payment Method before you exhaust your minimum of $10 you paid Google initially then you will be immediately given $50 to run your advert
Also, before the $50 Dollars Budget Threshold get exhausted
For e.g if you are already in $45
Ensure you put the equivalent amount of $50 in your account so that you can you can be automatically charged
The moment you are successfully charged
Google will upgrade you to $200
