🚨 BREAKING: UBER SHUTS DOWN RIDE-HAILING OPERATIONS IN NIGERIA 🇳🇬

Uber has announced its exit from Nigeria after about 12 years of operations in the country.

The company said the decision followed a review of its business priorities and investment strategy across Africa. According to Uber, it will now focus its resources on markets where it believes it can create greater value and expand opportunities for drivers at scale.

Interestingly, Uber said its decision was not caused by the recent dispute with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) over e-hailing operations at Nigerian airports.
The exit marks the end of an era for one of Nigeria’s biggest ride-hailing platforms. 🚗💨
