Top of the morning to you!

And,

Welcome to the month of June.

May you experience growth in all areas of your life.

May was a lot. My most demanding month so far. I had academic work, clients to serve, programs to attend, courses to take and spiritual life to grow.

June started off on a good foot for me. Got selected for the Hustle Academy Bootcamp which kicked off yesterday and it's been an amazing one.

Also, I was on a Community impact challenge, I made it to the top 50. While I didn't make it to the top 25, it was a huge milestone for me. I got to learn, make corrections, gain clarity and connect with people across the country. This is huge for me and I pat myself at the back.

Like I usually say, don't leave your life to chance. You want to be successful and you want to get to the top, you must give yourself to growth, challenge and stretch yourself beyond your comfort zone.

I have a group where I share resources and opportunities that might aid you.

The link to join will be in the comment section.

As always,

🥂To your sustainable business growth

Top of the morning to you. 🌄

I'd like to share one of my favorite nuggets with you by Charles Kingsleigh.

He said: The only way to achieve the impossible is to believe it is possible.

It isn't just the only way but also the first step out of the impossible.

When you've believed that an impossibility is possible, the next course of action is to find the other steps out of the impossibility into your expected possibility.

This resonates with the old adage that says ‘where there is a Will, there is a Way.’

Your Reflection should be: What are some impossible things you are working towards today? Or are you running away and believing that they are not possible?

Remember: Belief is the way and the first step.

As always,

🥂To your sustainable business growth

SELECTING A GOOD GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

So far we've been able to look at what maximizing your business growth potential is all about.

We have also evaluated how to identify a good opportunity and the features to look out for in the process. (You can check the previous posts for references).

It's is important that we talk about selecting a good growth opportunity.

Why is this important?

In the process of identifying an opportunity, you might discover many other opportunities but what will be the distinguishing factor.

In simple terms, selecting a growth opportunity requires choosing options that aligns with your brand values and visions.

The market size may be little, but it will grow eventually with time and consistency.

Let's consider this:

A fashion designer who is just starting out with a vision of becoming a global brand. The values should be built around God, integrity, quality, consistency, hardwork, reativity and excellence.

With this in place, investment options begins to come your way.

One is proposing investing in your business with your body as the payment plan. This is an opportunity to grow your business fast.

Another is proposing collaboration which is also a form of investment and an opportunity. The agreement for this is sharing the dividends at a relatively good percentage.

We both will agree that these are growth opportunities.

We will also agree that the first opportunity does not align with the brand’s values and visions. It is safe to say that it's not a good growth opportunity to choose.

Think about getting to the top and a scandal just breaks out about this brand that you've grown. Think about the health implications. Think about the spiritual ties that you are making and portals that you are opening up.

But the second option could be classified as a better option to consider. You put in your part and the other person supplies their joints too, the business pulls through, everyone takes their cut and your business adds some percentage of growth.

You should also be careful of who you cut the collaboration deal with, so you don't regret the option. Always pray that your sensitivity is heightened and your discernment sharpened.

This is where we will wrap this up for now.

Till I write to you again,

This 🥂 is to your sustainable business growth.

BEFORE YOU START THAT BUSINESS, CHECK THIS.

There is this mini bread depot in my area where I usually buy bread. A while back I was craving bread and egg for dinner. On my way back from church, I thought to buy them before going home. It happened that I could buy the bread and the other things I wanted to buy at the same axis but I had to go down to another place to buy just eggs. I was too tired to run that particular errand. Right there the thought that this bread depot could add eggs to the product just dropped and I shared it with the owner. Few days later, I was passing by and I saw that there were some crates of eggs there. I just smiled, waved at her and passed.

Double win for her. Two souce of income stream.

You see, there are business growth opportunities all around us.

But it can be challenging to know which opportunity is the right one to pursue.

To help solve this challenge, let's look at the Characteristics of a Good Opportunity.

✅ IT MUST BE ABLE TO SOLVE THE PAIN POINT OF THE CUSTOMER: My need from the above analogy was eggs. And seeing that the depot owner made move to add the eggs has solved the pain of going to a farther location to get it.

✅ OFFERS A NEW PRODUCT, SERVICE OR MARKET: This can be offering a new product or service to the market you are currently serving. Alternatively, you can decide to bring your current product or service to a new market.

✅ BUILD ON YOUR EXISTING COMPETENCIES: This entails considering the business skills, knowledge, processes and systems that you and your team possess and leveraging the potential to develop new opportunities. These skills, knowledge, experiences are what makes you unique.

✅ It SHOULD BE PROFITABLE: Any business opportunity needs to be profitable. Before you start, do your research, seek advice, do a trial for a short time to check if it could be profitable.

✅ FIND SOMETHING THAT FITS YOUR STRENGTH: Just as you are able to run your existing business, you should also be able to oversee the new business opportunity with because it fits your passion, or suits the skills and knowledge that you have.

Just the way you have a bucket list of your ideal man or woman, these few points are some things that will help you identify a good opportunity and be able to maximize your business growth.

Kindly use the comment section and tell me know the point that stood out for you.

Till I write to you again,

🥂To your sustainable business growth.

THE SECRET TO SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

I got selected for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 women fellowship and trainings has been ongoing.

I took my first lesson on Saturday night.

The first lesson was on ‘MAXIMIZING YOUR GROWTH POTENTIAL’

I will be sharing a brief summary of the lessons with you, so we can learn and grow together.

I'm sure you will find it valuable and you might want to start off the new week by looking intently at your business and figuring out the areas with potential, that you can maximize.

One way to grow your business is to IDENTIFY and DEVELOP a new business opportunity.

Take note that identifying an opportunity is one, developing the identified opportunity is another thing.

You are well aware that the world is evolving and as such you need to seek for new opportunities within your business (advisably) or maybe outside of it to grow and be successful in business.

Now to maximize your business growth potential, you need a clear opportunity that not only fits your business but also your personal drivers.

Why does it it have to fit both your business and your personal drivers?

Let's see.

📍 First, if your vision of business growth sits well with you and your business, without opportunity, your growth will be relatively STATIC.

For instance, there is a vision for HealthCare Plan Global and there is a place I want to get to as the founder of the company, which is the drive behind developing myself, taking courses and doing all that I do for myself and the company. If with all the plans I do not get into certain growth and training programs and do not get opportunities like the 10,000 women fellowship, you would agree with me that my vision will only be on paper. There won't be much progress.

📍 Secondly, if an opportunity such as the 10,000 Women, suits your business growth well but does not fit in with your personal drivers, it can cause STRESS.

Imagine a student whose parents or guardian forced to study a course that does not in any way interests him/her. The parents are looking at having an Engineer in the family, but this individual wants to become a Teacher. Looking at the conflicts of interest here, if this person decides to go according to the parents will, he will always appear stressed out and exhausted.

📍 Thirdly, if you pursue an opportunity that suits you but does not match your business competencies, it can create considerable STRAIN on your resources.

Imagine starting your first business and you are yet to gain stability. Apparently you take cab to work and you have need of getting a car for yourself. After the first few profits that you made, you saw an offer of a car at a relatively affordable price and you pull out money from this your struggling business to buy this car. Please, what would happen to this business? Your guess is as good as mine.

Conclusively, to maximize your business growth potential, you ought to be able to tie the available opportunity to your business and you.
Treat your business and yourself as separate entities when necessary but you must also know that the vision is not distinct to one.

Your business success is your success and your success is your business success.

Subsequently, I will talk about identifying a good opportunity.

Meanwhile, let me know if you found this post helpful.

And as I usually say,

🥂TO YOUR SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS GROWTH.

There's this stand that serves as a mini depot for bread off my street.

I had gone there one of the days to buy bread. I also planned on getting eggs at another store to complement it. Then it dawned on me that this person who sells bread can sell eggs as well.

This will save people like me from stopping at different places to get something that could be bought at the same place. It's a similar concept to bread and akara (brand ball).

As a sharp Igbo babe and the Business Strategist that I am, I told them that it's something they could consider doing. And used myself as an example to buttress my point. I told them that they are leaving some money on the table. After which I left.

Yesterday as I was going to church, I noticed that they had 3 crates of eggs by that stand. Kai! I was happy for them that they took the suggestion and proud of myself for not hoarding the idea from them. (That will be so unlike me).

Dear business owner,

Today, spare sometime and examine your products or services. What can be adjunct products or services to your already existing ones? How best can you serve your target audience?

Look within, you definitely will find it.

PS: This is not me saying that you should be jack of all trade. I advocate that you niche down and be specific, but you can also serve these people in this niche with similar and very complementing products or services.

Got some values? Let me know in the comment section.

As always, Cheers to your business growth.

I am making this post now because I am couldn't recover from the mind-blowing opening ceremony for cohort 6, ably organized by PIH.

Infact I am yet to recover and I do not want to recover from it.

All through the ceremony I kept shouting and screaming.

The array and blend of the speakers clearly showed me the intentionality of Pharma Incubation Hub towards us.

Kai! Pharm 'Kemi Sope-Agbebi - said to remain a PERPETUAL LEARNER. I discovered that this is tied to being a value-driven person. This is my pledge and it has become my mantra. Thank you so much, Ma, for pouring out yourself to us yesterday and for inspiring me to go for MORE.

Oh my! Dr. Jude Nwokike took off a huge veil from my face through his session. A lot of things stood out for me, but through his session I saw the power of NETWORKING and this in different light. My takeaway from his session is to be both PRODUCT and PATIENT focused. Because of your session, Sir, my flair for research has been fueled. Thank you so so much, Sir for pointing us to the right direction.

The phenomenal IPSF Chairperson, Sano Samuel. The story you shared with us on how you got your current position. I am not so an outgoing person, but I am spurred to strategically taking the first step because as you said, sometimes therein lies the major breakthrough that I am expecting.
Thank you so much, Sir.

Oh! Pharm. Joy Acha, you seamlessly anchored this ceremony. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Shout out to the PIH Team, so much you give out for free all because of your quest to see us get better. Thank you so much.

I am open and yielded to learning and maximizing all that you have to give to us.

What more can I say.

Pharma Incubation Hub has left me flustered.

Kai! I remain a perpetual learner.

Last Friday, I had the privilege of being a part of the onboarding session which was facilitated by Pharm. Taiwo Olawehinmi, who I could feel her passion and zeal to see us become better. One of the things she mentioned that stuck with me is that I need to put in the necessary work to maximize all that fellowship has to give to me. Talk about the amazing program coordinator, Gbenga Ajiferuke, who was my first contact with the fellowship. Thank you for all you do and are doing for the fellowship. Oh! Dr. Olpengs David, thank you for the insightful word you left with us.

I am currently in an incubator, soon to mature.

Watch out for me.

Many thanks and appreciation to PIH Team, your labour of love over us will be rewarded greatly.

I am a FARMACIST.

Don't be shocked.

Some years back my Mom worked in a particular LGA in my state.

The place was quite far from home so my siblings and I had to go over to stay with her, you know, for some motherly care especially because my siblings were very little.

As proud Izzi people we represented well.

I learnt this particular area was used as farm settlement by some people.

We got some piece of land and started farming cassava, yam and few other things.

My siblings and I of course were the labourers. 😂 We were happy at first but with time we started grumbling because we were no longer finding it funny 🤣, especially because some lands were not easy to work on.

I don't know much about farming and soil but I knew that my curiosity got the best part of me.

I kept wondering why some parts of the soil was very Stony and less fertile while others even when it was still within the same space, was soft and more fertile.

That curiosity would have led me to studying SOIL SCIENCE. It may interest you to know that a good number of people needs and want to know more about soil to enhance good farming practices and improve crop/food production.

SOIL SCIENTISTS, you should come out proudly and offer education in this area.

Again I say, be proud of your course of study. You have your joint to supply in the society, just look within and you would see how to contribute meaningfully.

Though I didn't know that such course existed then but here's what I would have done if I studied or I'm studying the course:

1.GRANT WRITING FOR AGRICULTURE STARTUPS:
I mentioned in my previous post that you would need some skills outside what school is giving you to harness what you are studying if you want to practice around the course.
I would learn grant writing and everything about it, then start building a brand that helps farmers or agricultural businesses apply for grants focused on soil conservation, organic farming, or sustainability.

2. CONTENT WRITING AND RESEARCH:
I would write articles, research papers, or newsletters for agricultural organizations or publications, focusing on soil science and its importance in food security and climate resilience. I would also leverage the social media platforms by offering educational contents focused on soil science, sustainable agriculture, or gardening tips.
With time I can monetize through ads, sponsorships, or affiliate marketing. Don't look down on this.

3. SOIL AND PLANT ADVISORY OR CONSULTING SERVICES FOR URBAN GARDENS:

Are you thinking what I am thinking? This here, is gold mine.
Trust me, those living in towns and big cities are struggling with these area and I can tap into the market by providing personalized advisory services to small-scale farmers, and those interested in urban gardening on soil management, crop selection, and sustainable practices. With research I can identify these people and position properly to help them set up systems that are compatible with the soil conditions available in urban settings. I could do this virtually or in person.

4. SOIL HEALTH EDUCATION AND WORKSHOPS:

I'm sure you are getting the gist now.

I might consider organizing free or low-cost online webinars and workshops on topics like soil health, sustainable farming practices, or composting. I can monetize by offering advanced training for a fee or through donations.

5. SOIL TESTING AND ANALYSIS CONSULTATION:
This is the area many people want to fit in. I would do things differently adding offering soil testing services for farmers, gardeners, or landscapers later. This is because it might be capital intensive. I can also start by partnering with local labs or government programs for actual testing while focusing on interpreting the results and providing recommendations for optimal soil health and crop production.

This might take time too, so I would start with the former options to this.

With these following points of mine, I'm sure that I have been able to convince you and not confuse you that SOIL SCIENCE is a bae.

If you found this helpful, kindly engage with this post and you are free to share to your friends.

PS: If you are building a brand around this, you need a solid BUSINESS PLAN to guide you through the route. You can't afford to start anyhow because you might get frustrated doing it.

Before you would say that gave you the wrong tips. Enter my DM let me help you with a premium plan that would give your brand perception.

Meanwhile, I would be holding a training on how to identify, choose and niche down to your dream career path. You would be learning how to write a business plan for your business too.

So, stay tuned.

CHEERS TO YOUR SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS GROWTH.

DRUM ROLLSSSSSSS.💃💃💃

If I know serve you and your business well who I go serve. 😂

Some months ago, I decided to take on more skills and knowledge about how business owners can access funding.

I didn't just want to write business plans alone, I wanted to help my clients access funds to scale and sustain their business.

It was more like a divine orchestration, I came across this advert by BizGrantGlobal. I attend the free webinar and that opened my eyes, so I decided to go for the paid mentorship with the help of my Evergreen, Nkwuda Theresa Nneka.

Thank you, Mom. You have been a huge support to this girl from the very first day. My Mom will be in every of my post, dropping huge comments and prayers for me. Thank you, Ma. It's a privilege to have you as my mother.

I won't lie ehh, it's been back to back learning and I've chunked in a lot of knowledge which I am ready to pour out.

JSYK, I am a Professionally Certified Business Plan and Grant Writer.

Let me seize this opportunity to thank my writing coach, Mrs Vera Amarachi Genesis. You ignited this light, Ma.
Thank you for teaching me content writing, Ma. I'm privileged to have met you. In your class, you said to find a NICHE and that stuck with me. Thank you for your guide and help so far, Ma.

Massive shout out to the Don, Sir Emeka Joseph Nobis for hosting my business Plan Writing Coach Sir, Rilwan Akeyewale on his live session that very day that caused further light and clarity to break out.

Thank you, Sirs for yielding to the call of helping the young ones become better and find clarity. Your impacts are undeniable, Sirs.

My gratitude also goes to my DSP, Mrs. MaryAnn Odinakachukwu. I am thankful you mentioned Mama Felicia Ugoaro in one of yours posts last year. Thank you so so much, Ma. This girl is grateful to have crossed paths with you.

Thank you, Mama for pushing me to the become the best version of myself. Thank you for making me believe in myself. Thank you for pouring out yourself selflessly.

Haaa!!!

I didn't plan for this post to go this way, but I guess I just had to flow this way.

Finally, I would be ungrateful not to mention my friends and family who have always been rooting and commenting in my posts. I won't end this post if I go on mentioning your names, but I just want you to know that I love you all dearly and I appreciate you. Thank you for sticking with this girl.

Carry this thought with you wherever you go, that I help you prepare, structure and position your business properly to attract customers, investors and secure funding through my winning business plans and bankable grant writing services. Send a DM and your Business needs will be speedily met.
