Metaverse is the best place to invest right now in the Digital Ecosystem because it will be coming to reality as I have seen a Digital Economy already growing around the Creating,purchasing and trading in NFTs using Cryptocurrencies. The Avatars you see today in Video games and some Social media platforms will trade, attend events, buy and sell in the Virtual Space so the Metaverse is no Longer what some people call a 'A hype in the Virtual Space' Have you wondered why Facebook changed its name to Meta Platforms???.
The Metaverse will bring about the much anticipated Web 3.0 that has been forecasted as the next phase of the Internet this is going to be a phenomenal leap in networking and will be a digital revolution. You see Web 2.0 had monopoly from the Big Tech giants they showcased Censorship, opaque data sharing and Lack of ownership but we are going to be seeing in Web 3.0 a paradigm shift from status quo where we will have ownership of User created Content and constant deplatforming. NFTs ( Non Fungible Tokens) are already the order of the day this will aid the small players to own their content because NFTs have digital indentities. With Blockchain predicted to be the Technology driving the Metaverse decentralization will be easily achieved. Although some skeptics feel this Vision is just a dream but I believe technological dreams always come trueMan once thought he will one day go to the moon that is now a thing of the Past, Archimedes was doubted, Bill Gates was doubted now Microsoft should be the second Largest Tech Company that is why when this company decided to take over Active Vision's Blizzard. I immediately knew the Metaverse will become a reality sooner than anticipated.
