Sixteen Young Fashion Designers Graduate from Berryl’s Couture, Empowered by Believers Young Entrepreneurs Masterclass

In a remarkable celebration of creativity and entrepreneurship, sixteen young fashion designers drawn from the 16 local governments of Taraba State recently graduated from Berryl’s Couture, an esteemed fashion academy led by the visionary Betty Ibrahim Keto . This milestone marks a significant step forward for emerging talents in the fashion industry, empowered through rigorous training and mentorship.

The graduation ceremony was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Believers Young Entrepreneurs Masterclass, a dynamic initiative founded and funded by the distinguished Prof Jerome Nyameh , popularly known as The People’s Professor. His commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs across various fields is creating waves in communities by opening doors to opportunities that inspire self-reliance and professional growth.

Under the expert guidance of Betty Ibrahim Keto , the graduates underwent comprehensive training that fused the art of couture design with practical business insights.

Believers Young Entrepreneurs Masterclass Empowers Berrylin’s Couture CEO and 16 Youths Across Taraba State

Taraba State, Nigeria — In a groundbreaking empowerment initiative, the Believers Young Entrepreneurs Masterclass (BYEM) has presented an industrial sewing machine to Priscilla Ibrahim Keto, CEO of Berrylin’s Couture. This marks the organization’s first major empowerment program, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and self-reliance among young people in Taraba State.

The highlight of the event was the empowerment of 16 young individuals—one from each of Taraba State’s 16 local government areas—under the mentorship of Berrylin’s Couture. These selected beneficiaries will undergo intensive 3 months fashion and business training, furthering their journey to economic independence.

This major event follows BYEM’s earlier mini empowerment programs, which impacted 150 youths in Zing, Yorro, and Karim Lamido LGAs through skill acquisition and entrepreneurship training.

“Our goal is simple—to raise job creators, not job seekers,” The founder and funder of BYEM Professor Jerome Nyameh said. “With passionate leaders like Priscilla Keto and platforms like Berrylin’s Couture, we believe Taraba’s youth can shape a brighter, more prosperous future.”

The Believers Young Entrepreneurs Masterclass, BYEM, a societal impactful program which aims to inform young entrepreneurs on businesses has held another powerful edition in Karim LamidO Local Government Area of Taraba State. The event, founded and funded by Professor Jerome Nyameh, the people's Professor was hosted at Kabosom Hall, Unguwan Giwa in Karim, the headquarters of Karim Lamidon local Government Area.

The one day event which drew about fifty participants from the eleven wards of the area, focused on equipping Young entrepreneurs between the ages of fifteen to forty on entrepreneurship. Various facilitators who made up the team in their presentations gave insights and points on self assessment and the crucial role it plays in developing a business vis-a-vis key areas in business like networking, mentoring and branding.

Participants were also given rooms to air out their views, understanding as well as also ask questions on businesses as it pertains to them and their society. The event ended with smiles on each participant's face as they expressed how within a day, they were equipped with what at first seemed like a flight of fancy to a reality that will leave a positive mark in their lives in years to come.

BYEM Hosts Another Impactful Masterclass in Yorro

The Believers Entrepreneurs Masterclass, BYE, a divinely inspired initiative birthed and funded by Professor Jerome Nyameh has held another mega outing in Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba State.

The one-day intensive lecture drew participants from all the 11 wards in the area, cutting across religious backgrounds, ethnic groups, and political affiliations. Persons with disabilities were also included, reflecting BYEM’s inclusive vision for empowering all segments of society.

Participants, who represented various communities within the LGA, were trained on core principles of business such as assessments, branding, networking, and mentorship. These foundational elements are considered vital for building sustainable entrepreneurial ventures in today’s competitive economy.

Participants expressed deep appreciation to the foundation led by Professor Jerome Nyameh, commending him not only for “teaching them how to fish,” but also for providing the “baits” they need to catch even more. They offered prayers for divine blessings upon him and pledged to put into practice all they had learned.

BYEM which has begun making stops in various parts of Taraba State, continues to gain recognition for its grassroots impact. From entrepreneurship training to youth empowerment and inclusive education, the foundation is steadily building a reputation as a key player in community development across the state.
