Before I Made My First Sale, I Made a Plan
When I decided to start my business, I didn't begin by looking for customers.
I started with a notebook.
I wrote down what I wanted my business to become, who I wanted to sell to, how I wanted people to see my brand, and the steps I needed to get there.
I also prepared the things that would make my business look professional:
A business name
A simple business plan
Business cards
Flyers
A professional Facebook and Instagram page
A WhatsApp Business account
Did I have everything figured out? No.
But I understood something important:
People are more likely to trust a business that looks prepared.
Many people rush to start selling without building a foundation.
They have great products, but no brand, no clear direction, and no way for customers to remember them.
You don't have to spend millions to look professional. Start with the basics and improve as your business grows.
Takeaway:
Don't just start a business. Build a brand that people can recognize, trust, and recommend.
