RURAL SOLAR HUB!!!
Stories like Zainab Haruna’s remind us why sustainable energy access matters.
In Giwa community, Kaduna State, Zainab shared how the lack of reliable electricity made simple daily activities difficult for women and families. Milling grains was expensive due to petrol-powered mills, and sometimes she had to walk long distances just to process food for her children.
Today, through the Rural Solar Hub built by Nimsy Agro Solar Concept with the support of Propcom+ , things are changing. The hub provides affordable solar-powered milling services (wet and dry), phone charging, and even ice blocks for cooling drinks all at prices far lower than fossil-fuel alternatives.
For Zainab and many others in the community, this is more than access to energy; it is improved livelihoods, reduced stress, and greater resilience for families.
With the support of Propcom+, Nimsy Agro Solar Concept has successfully built 6 Rural Solar Hubs across Kaduna, Kano, and Plateau States, creating similar impacts in underserved communities and proving that clean energy can drive inclusive rural development.
