💜 MEET MRS. JUSTINA — SOMETIMES, IMPACT BEGINS WITH SIMPLY SEEING A WOMAN. 🥹
Mrs. Justina wasn't on our list.
She wasn't someone we had planned to meet that day.
She was simply passing by while the Beyond the Market Project was taking place at Sabo Market.
But we saw her.
And we stopped her.
We engaged her, listened to her story, and what we heard touched us deeply. Behind the woman hawking pure water in the market was a woman carrying a story, responsibilities, struggles and dreams of her own.
Sometimes, people walk past us every day, and we have no idea what they are carrying.
Mrs. Justina is a hardworking woman doing what she can to make a living. She is out there every day, selling pure water and working with what she has.
Her story reminded us of something very important:
You don't always have to have much to make a difference. You just have to be willing to see someone and care.
We encouraged her.
We spoke with her.
And we gave her something to add to her business.
Was it a lot? No.
But we believe that even the little we were able to give can go a long way when it is placed in the hands of a woman who is determined to keep going.
However, we know that Mrs. Justina needs more.
And that is why today, we are making a heartfelt appeal to YOU.
If you are reading this and you can support Mrs. Justina in any way—through financial support, business support, provisions, access to a better means of livelihood, or any opportunity that can help her increase what she is doing—please, reach out.
Don't underestimate what your little can do.
What may seem small to you may mean a bigger business, a better day, a more stable income, or simply renewed hope for another woman.
Beyond the Market was never just about giving something and walking away.
It was about seeing women. Listening to their stories. Encouraging them. Connecting them to opportunities. And reminding them that they matter.
Mrs. Justina, we may not have been able to do everything for you, but we saw you.
We heard you.
We believe in you.
And we are still hoping that more people will see you too. ❤️
If you can help Mrs. Justina, please don't hesitate to reach out to Women In Business Hub Nig.
Because sometimes, changing a woman's story doesn't begin with doing something big.
Sometimes, it begins with simply seeing her.
