History has been written in bold letters as Tanko Baba Football Academy of Lafia, Nasarawa State, emerged as the CHAMPIONS of the 2nd Edition Senate President Under-18 Youth Football Championship after a dramatic and unforgettable final match against Essien Udim FC of Akwa Ibom State.

The encounter was fierce, tactical, and full of heart from both sides. After 90 minutes of intense football, the match ended in a barren 0–0 draw, with both teams refusing to give an inch.

With the trophy on the line, the battle went into penalty shootout, and once again, the Lafia warriors showed nerves of steel, winning the shootout 4–3 to lift the prestigious trophy! 💙💛🔥

Tanko Baba Football Academy, Lafia (Nasarawa State) has officially qualified for the FINAL of the prestigious Senate President U-18 Youth Championship, after a dramatic and unforgettable Semi-Final battle against Jaguar FC of Abia State! 💪⚽🔥

In a tense and highly competitive match, both teams showed top-quality football and incredible fighting spirit. The game ended 1–1 after regulation time, with our electric forward Wifred Ndei (LIGHTER) once again proving his brilliance by scoring the crucial goal that kept our dreams alive. ⭐🔥

With everything on the line, the match went into penalty shootout, and our boys stepped up with courage, composure, and total confidence.

In a highly competitive and thrilling encounter against Cityboi Football Academy of Bayelsa State, our boys fought valiantly with great enthusiasm, confidence, and high sportsmanship. Despite dominating large portions of the game and creating several scoring chances, the match ended 1–0 in favor of Cityboi of Bayelsa. ⚽

We are thrilled to share the exciting journey of our recent scouting program in Aguyi Ironsi Contingent Abuja, where Tanko Baba Football Academy participated in a match against Young Stars of Akwanga another talented team from Nasarawa State. The match ended in a resounding victory for Tanko Baba Football Academy, with a score line of three goals to nil in our favor.
One of the standout moments of the match was witnessing one of our players achieve a remarkable hat trick, showcasing exceptional skill, determination, and goal-scoring prowess. Their performance was nothing short of inspiring and a true testament to their dedication and talent on the field.
In addition to the hat trick hero, another one of our players stood out with an impressive display of teamwork and creativity, recording three assists during the match. Their ability to create scoring opportunities and contribute significantly to our team’s success did not go unnoticed.
As a result of their outstanding performances during the scout, both players have been selected to advance further in the scouting program. This achievement reflects not only their individual talent but also the strong teamwork, coaching support, and collective effort of our academy.

Dear Football enthusiast we are delighted to share that our recent symposium and get-together (Iftar) event was a resounding success, bringing together our esteemed management, dedicated coaching staff, and talented players for a memorable and impactful occasion.
During this event, we had the honor of presenting appointment letters to our esteemed coaches, recognizing their commitment, expertise, and invaluable contributions to our academy’s success. Their dedication and passion for developing young talent have been instrumental in shaping our players’ journeys and nurturing a culture of excellence within our academy.
Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the promotion of our former technical adviser to the esteemed position of team manager. His wealth of experience, leadership skills, and deep understanding of the game make him the ideal candidate to guide our teams to greater heights of success and achievement.
