Hello good afternoon everyone . We really noticed many clients dont know much about lithium ores to be purchased so we need to take our time to educate clients on the lithium ores present and how to select the type of lithium ores they want to buy
1. Lepidolite popularly known as lithium mica which have 3 families polylithiolite , lepidolite and trilithiolite . Its found in areas where there are large deposite of Mica and germstones .
Its used generally for calming energy and calming moid swings
Its used for manufacture if high grade bateries of cars , phones , laptop and solar panels . The lithium purity is at most 7.7%
2. Spodumen - They are mostly of 3 types which are Kunzite ( lilac or pink colour ) found mostly in West Africa , Hiddenite ( emerald green ) found only in Northern America ( i have to say this because of scammers that might want to mislead people ) and Tripane ( yellow to golden colour ) . This is found mostly in Canada , USA , India . Its very rare in apperance . Mostly all spodumen lithium contain lithium content of 5-8% with mostly aluminium and sodium content more higher . They are mostly polished and used for jewellries purposes mostly and extraction of lithium used for powering of all kinds of rechargeable batteries .
3. Ambigolite . Is always white or greyish white . Other rare forms are colourless , yellow , greenish yellow . Lithium content is highest about 8-12% lithium content and aboundance sources in Northern Nigeria . Its market value is low because of high florine content and extraction of lithium from flourine is most times difficult
