THE POWER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

“ Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” — Proverbs 14:34

INTRODUCTION
Righteousness is not merely looking holy before people. Righteousness means standing right with God and living according to His ways even when nobody is watching. A righteous man may not be the loudest person, but Heaven recognizes him.
Many people today pursue power, money, fame, and influence, yet neglect righteousness. But every greatness without righteousness eventually collapses. God does not build permanently on corruption.

Powerful Illustration
A building can look beautiful outside, painted with expensive colors and shining decorations. But if the foundation is cracked, one storm can destroy everything in a moment.
• Joseph in Egypt is a perfect example. Nobody would have known if he sinned with Potiphar’s wife. But Joseph understood something powerful:

“How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9

Joseph lost comfort temporarily, but righteousness preserved his destiny. The prison became a pathway to the palace.

The devil does not fear church activity alone; he fears believers who truly walk in righteousness.

CONCLUSION:
God is still searching for men and women who will stand pure in a corrupt generation. One righteous decision can change an entire destiny.
Do not trade your eternal glory for temporary pleasure.

THE EARTH HATH HE GIVEN
TO THE CHILDREN OF MEN

God will not come and wear your trouser for you, he has given you legs and hands and brain, you are not a robot.

God will not come down from heaven to wear your trouser for you. He already gave you hands and legs. Responsibility is part of God’s design for man. From the beginning, God gave the earth to man to manage, cultivate, and administer. Man was never created to be helpless; man was created with dominion.

The Psalmist said in Psalm 115:16, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” That means the affairs of the earth are within the jurisdiction of man. God is not running governments, businesses, economies, or societies directly from heaven. He gave man intelligence, wisdom, creativity, and the ability to make decisions.

Many times, people blame God for poverty, hardship, and suffering, but the problem is not the earth God created. The earth is rich with resources, possibilities, and abundance. The challenge is in the management of those resources by men.

When one man controls the wealth meant for millions, imbalance is created. When greed replaces stewardship, poverty increases. When corruption replaces justice, suffering multiplies. Difficulties in society are often the result of man’s failure to manage the earth with equity, compassion, and wisdom.

God has done His part by giving man the earth, ability, and capacity. Man must now do his part through responsibility, productivity, fairness, and proper administration.

The quality of life on earth is largely determined by the quality of man’s management. If men operate in love, justice, and sound thinking, the earth becomes better for everyone. But where selfishness and oppression dominate, pain and lack become inevitable.

The answer is not waiting for heaven to intervene physically; the answer is men renewing their minds and functioning according to God’s wisdom. 'l

True Christianity does NOT excuse science ( factual world ), Jesus never did. He only lived above the factual world. Prayer is powerful, but it does not replace responsibility. If you are sick, take medicine. If you want to eat, work. If you want impact, combine faith with sound understanding.
