This is the video of the collapsed building at Banana Island Lagos.
We may not at the moment really know the actual cause of this sad occurrence but it is surely not unconnected with either faulty foundation procedures /recommendations or using substandard products or cutting corners by developers coupled with other unethical practices so common nowadays.
The need for adequate foundation evaluation is strictly needed and mandatory for any building especially high rise building structures.
