Esther, Sophia, and George. Imagine how many friends you'd have to make to build a successful business empire.

Well over 100, 1000 or 1,000,000?

But thank goodness you don't have to make or keep that number of friends irl (in real life).

With the power of tech and the proper steps, you can convert an average Joe/Jill who knows nothing about you into your friend (well, customer).

How? A couple of things.

It's what brands like Jumia, Amazon, etc., do to sell to thousands of people regularly...

👉 Create immense value and make it easy to access
(This is where caring comes in.

Friends are supposed to be caring, yeah?

You need to care about your market.

You've got to know what people desire - or what pain they are trying to kill.

Then as a good friend, you need to make it easy to access what will help them fulfil that desire or drive their pain away - your product, services or platform)

👉 Get your potential friends (customers) to see it with marketing
(Be creative with this)

👉 Deliver the value you promised!
(This is where you get them to deepen the relationship they have with you or your business.

You’ve told your friends you can be of help, so deliver and over deliver if you can.

If you play this part well, you’d have a lot of friends who will tell other friends who care to listen about your business)

Have you been considering these three things?

But you want to increase how well your brand is known,

grow your following or community,

and make more sales?

Give this a go!

PS. Do you have a content strategy or you post whenever inspiration hits?

One thing I enjoy doing whenever I’m working is listening to music.

Chilled music.

On one faithful day, I decided to connect my laptop to the home theatre to switch things up a lil bit.

Upon connecting the aux cable, I grabbed the remote and tried to switch the playing mode.

I pushed the grey (mode-switching) button to make the switch happen, but it didn’t work.

I tried the remote CPR thingy
*Hit the remote on my other palm severally*, but it didn’t work still.

I decided to check the battery compartment... that was when I discovered why the remote wasn’t working.

One of the batteries was already leaking, and the other looked weird. They’ve been overused and worn out, so they couldn’t perform as they used to.

I removed the old batteries, wiped the battery compartment clean, and slotted the replacement batteries in.

This time I pushed the mode-switching button, and it worked instantly.

If batteries can wear out, so can you.

Happy weekend! Remember to pay attention to your mental, physical, or spiritual batteries and recharge when you should.

If you don’t, you’d soon wear out, and you won’t be able to do the things you love.

How has your week been, fam?

2022 was the year I realised that great and not-so-great things could be happening in one’s life - at the same time.

The first quarter started with me losing both of my granddads—whom I was very fond of—and my mental health suffered a massive blow.

I was thrown into “Grief Mode,” and it took me a while to recover.

As if that wasn’t enough, I got served breakfast (i.e. I broke up with a potential partner) - and a lot of other not-so-nice events that I don’t want to recount.

There were a lot of wins as well; I finished National Youth Service—which was stress-free thanks to my Platoon Head, one of my Coaches, and a good friend—and I moved into a new space.

Then I had the opportunity to work with a couple of notable clients, developed a course for a growing learning platform, and spearheaded all things content for one of the leading lifestyle brands in Lagos.

If I could describe my 2022 with a word, it’d be: “DRAMATIC.”

And like Asake (Afrobeats Musician), I never saw a bunch of things coming.

Phew! I believe it’s safe to say I’m fully back from my one-month break that turned three and some more months.

Happy New Year! Most especially to those of you that stuck with me despite my inconsistency and unannounced disappearance from social media.

I wish you nothing but joy and a celebration-filled year ahead.

Let’s do greater exploits this year.✹

Love, Remilekun—Remmie—Ajayi

Do I even need to create content?đŸ‘‡đŸœ

Do I need to be consistent?

Do I need to invest in branding?

The simple answer? Yes, Yes, and Yes.

You can think of your content as a silent ambassador or ghost worker that converts onlookers to fans—fans to customers—and customers to super fans.

And when you get your branding right, you’d have people who’d tell other people who care to listen about you and your offerings: your products or services.

For example, It’s been more than a minute since I’ve been active on this platform, yet I still keep getting clients and innumerable opportunities.

You can achieve a similar result if you try this.

1. Figure out how you can be of value with your offerings: skills, talents, products and or services.

2. Identify who will find your offerings helpful. Experts call them your target audience.

And your target audience has a desired goal or result.

But guess what? Some obstacles or challenges are blocking them from reaching that desired goal or result.

Take note of these obstacles or challenges.

3. Create relatable pieces of content that’d gradually help your target audience scale their obstacles, so they can see more of your content or offerings: your products or services and reach their desired goal.

P.S. If you push out these relatable pieces of content consistently, you’d be using the power of the internet to grow your influence, bank opportunities or make profits over time.

Did you find this helpful? Please share and save for later.😊

Who can relate? 😂

Just one more episode isn’t always just one more episode.

Just one more Reels or TikTok video isn’t always just one more. We often see a few “one mores” until our battery runs out or until something else gets our attention.

And when it comes to our plans that didn’t, well
work out. We give up so easily.đŸ„Č

You probably need: đŸŽ¶ God Abeg (God Please) — 3 x daily😂

*Just kidding*

Hope you’d apply this “Just one more” energy into things that require your time and attention.

It could be that “just one more” try that’d give you the breakthrough you seek.

Happy new month fam, and it feels good to be back. How have you been?

P.S. .united and others that I can’t mention

I really appreciate you for reaching out whilst I was away. May God bless and remember you too😊
