š WHEN LOVE IS NOT WATERED... IT WITHERS š
Letās talk about LOVE, real love. Not the fairytale kind we see in movies, but the one that lives in the quiet moments. The one that needs more than just wordsāit needs nourishment.
Love is not self-sustaining.
It doesnāt grow on promises alone.
It doesnāt survive on āI love youā repeated like a habit.
Love needs effort. Daily. Consistent. Intentional.
Just like a garden, love needs to be: š± Watered with attention
āļø Fed with kindness
š¾ Pruned with honest conversations
š» Protected from neglect and selfishness
When we stop checking inā¦
When we stop listeningā¦
When we assume our partner will always understandā¦
Love begins to slowly fade not with thunder, but with silence. Not with fights, but with distance.
And the saddest part?
We often donāt realize weāre losing love until itās already gone.
š§ Hereās what life teaches us:
You can lose someone who still loves you⦠if you stop making them feel loved.
You can destroy a bond⦠not with cruelty, but with neglect.
The biggest mistake in love is thinking it will always be there, no matter what.
ā¤ļø So water your love. Speak with warmth. Touch with intention. Listen with empathy. Show upāespecially when itās hard.
Because love, no matter how pure, will not survive on its own.
Let this be your reminder:
Donāt just say āI love you.ā Show it. Grow it. Choose it. Every day.
