Hello guys!
We are still on Baba Segi's matter.
We are looking for the person to settle his matter o😊😊😊
One important thing to note in this book was the author's style of writing. We were able to read from each character's head. It was not one person's perspective but we read from each character's perspective. This made us appreciate each character and also perfect our opinion about them.
The readers become god with this style of writing.
The Plot.
This is another reason, if not the most important reason to read this book.
Baba Segi who is the centre of the novel. He is the head of his family. A voice to reckon with and like a king in a game of chess😊 You are to protect the king in a game of chess. There is a secret in his household that he is not aware of.
The queen in this book, is Baba Segi's first wife. The one that orchestrated the whole thing. The one that knows the secret! The one that told the other two wives the secret of staying in Baba Segi's house. She is the Queen in the game of chess.
I will skip the other two wives and move to Bolanle. Don't forget that Baba Segi and his three wives are uneducated. However, Bolanle, his last wife, is young and educated. For reasons best known to her and can be seen when you read the book, she decided to marry Baba Segi.
The interesting thing about this is that, the other wives were threatened by the educated young wife and they refused to let her in on the secret to stay in Baba Segi's house.
This, ofcourse, caused kasala!!!
This made the secret to be exposed!
And lastly, this is the reason why you should read the book.
Like, I said, this is a non spoiler review.
The aim is to make you pick up the book and read!
