Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Industry: Retail Electronics & Home Appliances
Salary: 500k to 700k

We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-integrity Accountant to join our team in Lagos and take ownership of daily financial operations, banking, reconciliations, and statutory tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and vendor account reviews
• Process and verify corporate cheques and approved payments
• Prepare and file monthly VAT, PAYE and other statutory remittances
• Manage regulatory correspondence, filings and audits with LIRS & FIRS
• Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records
• Develop and manage financial spreadsheets using advanced Excel

Requirements:
• B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc.
• Hands-on experience with LIRS & FIRS portals and tax compliance
• Practical knowledge of statutory deductions and tax clearance processes
• ICAN/ACCA professional qualification or ongoing stages is an added advantage
• Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail

Our client, a reputable Petrol/CNG Filling Station in Ilorin, Kwara State, is looking to hire experienced professionals for the following positions:

Requirements:
✅ Relevant experience in a petrol filling station and/or CNG station is required.
✅ Strong understanding of filling station operations, HSE compliance, inventory management, and customer service.
✅ Technical roles require hands-on experience with fuel dispensing systems, pumps, compressors, generators, and preventive maintenance.
✅ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
