At Zero Pest NG, we see this as a stark reminder of why regular pest control and fumigation are more important than ever. Mosquitoes, rodents, cockroaches, and other pests carry diseases like malaria, dengue, typhoid, cholera, and more illnesses that can send you straight to the hospital (or worse) in a system that's barely funded.
Key benefits of fumigating your home/environment every 6 months:
- Zero mosquitoes → Drastically cuts malaria
- No unwanted pests → Reduces chances of vector-borne and food/water contamination diseases.
- Fewer doctor visits & hospital bills cut off for the full family → Saves money and stress when healthcare access is limited.
- Healthier living space → Better air quality, fewer allergies, and peace of mind for your family.

“If you are living inside Nigeria, I want to beg you, with God, please do not fall s!ck. Abeeg. Except you have money saved somewhere, please do not fall sick. A document came out last week showing that Nigeria’s health sector is practically running on zero naira. Zero. Nothing.
For 2025, the government approved ₦218 billion for the health sector. That money was supposed to build hospitals, upgrade facilities, make treatment cheaper for citizens, maybe even free in some cases. That was the agreed amount, ₦218 billion.
Now look at what was actually released. ₦36 million. Out of ₦218 billion, they released ₦36 million. Do you know how t£rr!ble that sounds? That performance rate is less than 0.01% of the amount approved for the entire health sector. For a country with over 250 million population, that is the figure meant to support hospitals, equipment, medication, and lives.
Let me put it into perspective. It is like when a big man walks into a club and loudly promises to clear everybody’s bill so the whole place hears him. But when the actual bill arrives, he disappears. That is audio money.
They promise new hospitals and better healthcare, yet ₦36 million cannot even buy a standard three bedroom flat in Abuja.
Let me put ₦36 million into perspective for you. You see, a new Toyota Prado of 2024 will cost you around ₦130 million, just last week I was going out, I saw three Prados, and those ones are 2025. Three Prados on trailers being shipped to somewhere around Abuja, of which I know that it is one minister that owns them.
The entire money they released for a nation whose population is over 250 million population, the money can’t even buy two tyres for one Prado that ministers drive around with convoys.
This doesn’t attach to anyone, I am just stating out the fact. When it comes to health in this country, the government has left the group chat. It is just as simple as that. Every single Nigerian is on their own. Please watch out for your health, because if you fall sick and can’t be flown out or afford private hospitals, then you are on your own…”
