Kenya gave me two things I deeply appreciate:
Nyama Choma & real investment conversations.
Somewhere between Mbuzi Choma (goat ribs, properly grilled) and Ugali, I was reminded why East Africa continues to punch above its weight โ not just culturally, but economically.
Kenya is known for wildlife, athletics and innovation โ but itโs also a serious investment destination. From capital markets to hospitality, tech to manufacturing, the conversations we had during the launch reinforced one thing:
๐ The region is ready for more intra-African capital, more diaspora participation, and smarter cross-border collaboration.
And weโre not stopping there.
Next week, we unveil the official dates for the Building For Africa Business Investment Fireside & Mixer Pan-African Tour.
๐ First stop: Uganda โ February 2026
Uganda will also host the official launch of the Africa Business Blackprint Podcast โ a platform for candid, practical conversations on investing and building across Africa.
The Fireside & Mixer Tour is designed to:
Facilitate real dialogue on each countryโs investment landscape
Address investor concerns head-on (policy, currency, mobility, trust, exits)
Strengthen intra-African trade and diaspora capital flows
Build momentum toward the Building For Africa Investment & Diaspora Capital Summit (October 2026)
This is not a talk shop. Itโs a deal-room energy.
