Answers to honeymoon questions most couples ask .
1) What type of honeymoon is best? what should I have?
This is up to you to decide - most couples choose a honeymoon type that matches their personality and offers them the kind of activities they consider fun. If you are a quiet couple and want a private, intimate, romantic honeymoon an example of a good fit honeymoon for you would be a private beach or secluded island. But this type would be boring for you if an extrovert, adventurous couple.

2) I and my husband/wife want a very different type of honeymoon.
We recommend compromise - after all that is what makes a happily-ever-after marriage. I suggest that you both mix up your wants, and split your time between both types of honeymoon - that way each person gets what he/she wants. In that case, you could spend half of your honeymoon time at a quiet destination and spend the other half sightseeing at a fun place.

3) How long should a honeymoon be?
The honeymoon duration and length are up to you to decide - could be based on how much off-time your office or business can give you. Even if you can't get an off time, we suggest that you make it a weekend getaway (or minimoon) at a nearby location skipping the honeymoon is a no-no in our books (because we are aware of the immense bonding benefits a honeymoon offers.

4) How much would my honeymoon cost?
It all depends on where you want to spend your honeymoon vacation and what you want to do, which is different from what Mr. and Mrs. Lagbaja want. You'll then have to add up all the costs such as the travels (flights/taxis/buses fare) plus hotel accommodation (5 star? 4-star or beach resort? depending on your affordability. I recommend that couples start by setting a budget for their honeymoon and then start looking for destinations that the budget can afford. I want you to know that it's not where you go to or how much you spend that makes a honeymoon a honeymoon, rather it is in the memories you create.

5) I can't afford a honeymoon: my wedding is already a lot of money - what should I do?
If you make having a honeymoon a priority and budget even a small amount for it, you can have it. I usually advise that couples cut down their wedding dreams to make room for a honeymoon. Even budgeting 30k or less for your honeymoon can get you 2 nights to stay at some low-cost hotel in the state where you live.

6) We plan to travel abroad for a honeymoon; should we travel immediately after the wedding or the next day or when?
No, not immediately after the wedding. The best time to travel for a honeymoon is one or two days or a week after the wedding. We at Bluetrip honeymoon advise that couples check into a hotel right after their wedding, then spend a night or two there before taking off on their honeymoon trip.

What's true love? True love is a long-lasting affection between lovers or spouses, who are in a happy, passionate, and fulfilling relationship. Love is to be deeply committed to someone. Have you ever sat down to compare lovers who are truly in love with their spouses from the 80s and the lovers now? Which would you prefer?
Technology and social norms have changed the way people date in the 21st century. In the 80s, If a guy was to approach you, he would call you on the landline to talk and ask you out on a date. Now, if a guy is interested, he drunk texts you on a Friday night. Our old parents had a box of lover letters underneath their beds, now we have texts we never delete even when our storage is full. First dates no longer exist, after checking out Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, you're a date number four by the time you meet.
I observed that the biggest obstacle in a relationship is having no Wi-Fi connection.
Receiving a mixtape back then is a sign that someone was really into you. Now, if he likes your profile picture on Instagram, it means you two are married. Haha, so funny but sad. Dating has changed in the last century, but how do we singles have it so bad now? Do you think living in a bygone era is a better place to be? I watch and observe the old couple in my neighborhood, they are always happy and healthy. Sometimes I wonder if they have ever had a fight or if they were once separated. In this century, most average woman finds their life partner at the age of 25, while men are more likely to find their soulmate at age 28. Have you experienced finding true love in your fifties or older? This old couple in my neighborhood are married for 64 years and their love for each other never faded. Finding true love now is rare. Someone who fills your life and meets your spiritual, emotional, and physical needs is hard and doesn't happen to anyone.

What is the first thing you want to do after the wedding?
I would list 3 things I have done after my wedding if you don't mind.
The first thing is taking a good, long and hot shower bath. How free one feels after getting rid of those sarees weighing a few kgs, jewelry, and hundreds of hairpins stuck in hair! Pure bliss.

Now comes the best part, opening gifts. How excited I was to open those gifts. I was satisfied with a few and disappointed with many. I took a vow to gift flower bouquets to all those who gifted photo frames.

And then I was dead for 10 long hours. That was one of the best sleeps I ever had in my life. After 20 days of hustle, bustle, and sleepless nights. I felt as if I was in heaven after waking up with a cup of hot coffee.

Wedding! Though it is the most tiring event in life, it's the best when you tie the knot with the person you have been imagining the rest of your life with.

I was once asked, what are all the things which you come to know only after marriage? And I answered:
Adjusting and sleeping with a new person on a single bed. I tell my husband he snores, he tells me I do snore.
You realize that you can love, hate and again love your spouse within a span of a few hours.
You come to know that other people are now dependent on you. You now have to play your part to take the cart of marriage forward. You cannot shirk your duties else the cart will collapse.
What directors show in movies about romance right after the wedding is not always true and too far from reality.
How different the male species is from the female specie. Your father doesn't count because well he's your father and he loves you unconditionally.

Before marriage "Roses are red, the sky is blue, oh my darling I love you"... After marriage "Roses are dead, I have flu, don't come near me, Abbey Parai hatt tuu.
