The year 2019 edition of ARLFoundation EduProject approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Education has been slated for March 4th - 7th and 11th.

We will be visiting Ten (10) Public Secondary Schools (two schools per day) with the goal of educating and mentoring the students on achieving academic excellence while using the book, "Success Equation" as a reference material.

ARLFoundation: Student Training and Book Donation

In 2017, the ARLFoundation with approval from the Lagos State Ministry of Education, successfully facilitated a Free Student Training and Book Donation Project in selected public secondary schools under the Lagos State Education District II. The edu-project which was implemented in partnership with Y.E Training and support from dedicated team of volunteers, benefited more than 3200 students and 50 teachers in ten (10) public secondary schools with copies of the book, "Success Equation" donated to each of the schools' library.

As part of our ongoing efforts to reach more schools, the Lagos State Ministry of Education has yet again granted ARLFoundation an approval to reach additional ten (10) public secondary schools for this year's edition of the Free Students Training and Book Donation Project scheduled to from Monday 12th — Friday 16th, March 2018.

In light of this, we hereby make a call for professional educators and passionate volunteers with core interest in education, career counselling, student-centered learning and success habit, to kindly join us in making a big difference in the lives of thousands of young people spread across the ten (10) selected public secondary schools shortlisted as beneficiaries.

“Academic excellence is overrated! Did I just say that? Oh, yes, I said it.
Being top of your class does not necessarily guarantee that you will be at the top of life.

You could graduate as the best student in Finance but it doesn’t mean you will make more money than everybody else.

The best graduating Law student does not necessarily become the best lawyer.

The fact is life requires more than the ability to understand a concept, memorize it and reproduce it in an exam.

School rewards people for their memory. Life rewards people for their imagination.

School rewards caution, life rewards daring.

School hails those who live by the rules. Life exalts those who break the rules and set new ones.

So do I mean people shouldn’t study hard in school? Oh, no, you should. But don’t sacrifice every other thing on the altar of First Class. Don’t limit yourself to the classroom. Do something practical.

TAKE A LEADERSHIP POSITION

Start a business and fail. That’s a better Entrepreneurship 101.

JOIN OR START A CLUB

Contest an election and lose. It will teach something Political Science 101 will not teach you.

ATTEND A SEMINAR

Read books outside the scope of your course.

A photo report of our recent training session with all the students of Appollian Comprehensive High School, Ikorodu, Lagos. The session which focused on the topic "Be A Learner" was facilitated by our Lead Trainer, Ezekiel O. Akinrinade.

Interestingly, after the very engaging session, the student also had the opportunity of meeting Mr. Ezekiel Akinrinade one-on-one to get an autograph each for their copies of his book titled "Success Equation"

It is on record that the book, Success Equation has recently received an endorsement from the Lagos State Ministry of Education to be distributed to public school libraries in secondary schools coupled with free training for at least ten (10) schools. The project is to be implemented under the auspices of African Resourceful Leaders Foundation a registered nongovernmental organization which focuses on thematic areas of education, leadership and good governance.
