Ojeka Anthony as a person, don’t really matter to humanity as a whole. What matters is what I do, what I contribute and what I offer at the moment. That’s what the people and society values. When I die, few will mourn briefly maybe until my burial. Then, everyone moves on only those whose lives were deeply touched by my actions and reactions, they’re the people who will carry my memory, revisit moments, and wish I was still here to keep doing what I did.

Life is so short. Learn to put aside your differences with people and forgive them. You don't have to be close with them again like you used to be, but forgive them. You don't have to forget what they did, but forgive them. That will also set you free. Sometimes we rob each other of the opportunity to have greater relationships with each other, our loved ones, and friends because we allow bitterness to stand in the way. Before the year ends, let's forgive each other. Let's build better connections. Life is too short to hold on to grudges. Bitterness is too heavy to carry. Let's get into the new year without the extra weight.

I read somewhere that President Tinubu renamed the University of Abuja to Yakubu Gowon University. Well Universities are brands, and brands hardly change at a whim. This political culture of changing the names of tertiary institutions to immortalise politicians is not good. Now that the University of Abuja is changed to Yakubu Gowon University, many foreign employers and academic institutions will be left confused. Why would university graduates continue to carry certificates that do not reflect the names of universities they attended? The day University of Calabar is changed to someone's name (University) or some funny name, I will disown that certificate!
