THE WORKPLACE IS FOR ENJOYMENT TOO
I was invited to a company (name withheld) to help find out the reason for its slow growth.
After hours of conversation, on phone, with the CEO, I could tell what the problem was, but since it is unprofessional to conclude without proper analysis, I decided to visit the company, first as a customer. My first visit did not prove me wrong.
As I walked in, I was greeted by the unconcerned attitude of the front desk officer who was busy doing justice to her plate of food right at the front desk.
I said âHelloâ and after a minutes of watching her lick her spoon with extreme passion, and gulping from her water bottle like a model creating an advert content for a water company, she responded âGoodMorningâ as she dropped her plate of food under her desk.
After I made my enquiries, I watched how she struggled to give me little or zero information about what services her company renders.
After three days, I sent another of my staff to the same company, and this time (according to his testament) his ears was filled with gists on the latest Korean Movie, from some other staffs of the company. This gist was loud that he could hear from where he sat, while waiting to be attended to by one of this unethical staffs.
Now! there was no need for a prophet to tell us about enemies or witches from one village trying to run down the manâs business âşď¸.

LOW PRODUCTIVITY IS ONE, OUT OF THE MANY, REASON FOR POOR GROWTH AND SLOW SUCCESS IN EVERY BUSINESS.
Spending work hours on personal tasks, socializing excessively, or not putting forth effort to complete assigned tasks efficiently is a bad ethics that should be flogged out of any business that desires steady growth.
The workplace is for work, first, before pleasure of any sort.
