In early May 2021, I came across a shared post by Olufukeji "Ejimi" Adegbeye , a pastor I admired. He shared impactful writing content by Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze . I really loved the content and followed her on Facebook. Surprisingly, she posted on her page about wanting to train people on Data Entry, naming the training Data Entry Academy. She then started posting about the abundant opportunities available to someone becoming a Data Entry expert, providing solid evidence. Luckily, a few days before the first batch of the academy closed, I enrolled myself on May 31, 2021. Immediately after the payment of #32,250, she sent a mail with the quote: 'Please do me a favor - Take out 1 minute of your time, close your eyes and tell yourself that you are committed to this Programme; that you will attend your classes, do your assignments and complete the Programme successfully.'
However, during the training, I only attended five out of thirty classes. You'd be surprised too! 😂 This was because my phone got spoiled, and I couldn't continue the classes after getting a new one. Even with the online access to the course for a year, I kept procrastinating and didn't maximize the opportunity.
Fast forward to 2024, my mind kept urging me to reapply for the next set, which was Batch 14. I followed my intuition and reapplied as a re-enrolling student, receiving a discount. I paid #25,000 on October 27, 2024, and the class started on November 1, 2024. I can confidently say that this was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my entire life. I learned over 30+ cloud software applications, both online and offline, for the workplace. I am super excited! Yesterday was my graduation, and the most interesting part of my transition journey occurred on the 20th day of the academic year. I closed a deal with a client – one of the largest bakeries in Lagos.
