Regulatory Alert: CAC Commences Batch 6 Strike-Off of 100,000 Companies
The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has officially commenced another round of striking off dormant and non-compliant companies from the Register, pursuant to Section 692(3) & (4) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), 2020.
With 100,000 companies affected in this batch, corporate compliance is no longer optional, it is critical to your business survival.
⚠️ The Timeline: Affected companies have a strict 90-day window from July 15, 2026, to regularize their records or risk being struck off the register without further notice.
What you need to do immediately:
1️⃣ Verify Your Status: Check the official list of affected companies directly on the CAC portal: 👉 www.cac.gov.ng
2️⃣ Remediate: If listed, you must urgently file all outstanding Annual Returns and update your Persons with Significant Control (PSC) / Beneficial Ownership information.
