The Business Goal
Before now, one could easily say the goal of a business organisation is to maximize profit and minimize cost. But in the face of today’s competitive business environment and with the challenging economic conditions, business goals have expanded to include customer satisfaction.
The customer can make or mar the business, depending on how he is managed.
There are lots of competitors out there and if a customer is not satisfied with your product or service, he simply moves over to a competitor!
So, it will not be out of place to say that the goal of every business is to increase sales, optimize profit and improve customer satisfaction level while minimizing cost.
