Ekrah Ndungu is the CEO, Founder of the German Institute of Professional Studies, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is also the Founder Ekrah Group LTD.
She holds an Essentials Business Skills Facilitation/coaching from ABMA Education UK, as well as a Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching from Alac (Advanced Leadership Academy, Cape town South Africa).
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from Kenya Methodist University (2011-2013), a Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Methodist University (2010-2011), a Diploma in Computer Software from Graffins College and German Language from Goethe Institute and a fluent speaker in the same language, German.
Ekrah currently serves as the Secretary General of Kenya National Association of Private Colleges (KENAPCO). She also serves as a Member of TVET Sector Advisory Board Kenya Private Sector Alliance –(KEPSA), Education sector Board Committee Kenya Private Sector Alliance –KEPSA.
She is a member of the National Competency Based Education & Training CBET implementation committee member, and also a member of Mentors Network Africa, Women In Africa (WIA) & Women in Business Kenya, board member of Career Guidance Institute Board (CGI), Ngaru Girls Secondary school, Rukubi Primary school and a faculty in DTI Group ltd.
She is also a business committee member in RCTB banking self-help group, and recently in April 2019 signed an MoU to become Partner for Africa IMPACTpreneur & Executive Assistant Trainings with RiseAssist Dubai.
Ekrah is also a Partner with Cameron Ventor from Cape Town, South Africa focusing on leadership coaching. Over the years, she has mentored thousands of youths, her mentees are placed across the world with a majority living in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Dubai as well as America, & the great country Kenya.
She is definitely passionate about youth in our continent. She has done numerous TV, Radio interviews sharing knowledge, and spoken in several platforms in Education Plenaries at the World Congress in March 2019.
She holds an Ambassadorial Code of honor Award, as National Chairperson and peace Ambassador for Kenya, supporting United Nations development goals Vision 2030.
