Ndi Imo,
As we journey through this path of rediscovery for our dearly beloved state, it is important that we come home, unite and stand in brotherly love against our common rivals that has set us below our standard and left us aching for our lives lost peace.
Our goal is to achieve a prosperous and safe Imo State that we can all grow and raise our children without fear or any intimidation.
Let us forgo our past hurt and look forward to a more realistic opportunities that seeks to make us happy, contented and united in brotherly love ascension.
We are caught across the road of progression and retrogression but all we have is our faith and our hopes for a future that rekindles humane feelings, thoughts and actions rather being bedveiled in rigorous rounds of sordid debacles and maximum chaos.
Our lands has been tentatively, saturated in negativị́ty that drums not for our good but for wrath to tear us apart. What can we achieve if we don't stick like a glue against our common enemy, which are not alien to us.
Let us imbibe in us the spirit of truth, equity and justice and teach our children and youths, to always remember the spirit of Oneness, to remember that Imo State is all we have and that this is the only place we can call home..
The bonds we share, the love we show and the happiness we feel are all expressions of our strong identity as pure breeds of first the Igbo nation and as citizens of our states and country Nigeria.
Join hands and support the process to make our state safe and welcoming.
Join hands and let us redifine our cultural heritage and draw visitors to come, live, grow and invest to the envy of our contemporaries.
Remember, our obligations and duty is to our dear motherland, to protect her from poachers and meddlesome interlopers, whose only desires is to see us razed to level zero, but with our unity and one voice we will overcome the bites of our yesteryears.
Remember the glory of the later will always supersede that of the former.
Hope you have a beautiful weekend. Stay safe.
Dr. Osmond Ukanacho.
