I was deep into learning.

Watching tutorials back to back.

Taking detailed notes. Highlighting everything. Feeling like I was making real progress.

Then I'd open the actual tool to build something, and my mind would go completely blank.

Not a little confused. Fully blank. Like I had learned nothing at all.

I'd go back to the tutorial. Watch again. Take more notes. Feel ready again. Open the tool. Blank again.

That cycle was exhausting. And quietly killing my confidence.

For a while I genuinely thought something was wrong with me.

Maybe I wasn't technical enough.

Maybe automation was for a different kind of person.

But the real problem was simpler than I thought.

I was learning in my head. Not in my hands.

There's a version of learning that feels productive but goes nowhere.

You understand the concept while someone else is doing it.

The moment you're alone with a blank canvas, that understanding disappears, because it was never really yours.

The shift happened when I forced myself to build before I felt ready.

No more finishing the full tutorial first. I'd watch 10 minutes, pause, and try to replicate what I just saw, even if I did it wrong.

Especially if I did it wrong.

I broke workflows. Got errors I didn't understand.

Spent way too long on things that should have been simple. But every time

I figured something out through struggle, it stayed. It became instinct.

That "confusion" I kept feeling wasn't a sign I was behind.

It was just the gap between knowing and doing, and the only way across that gap is to build your way through it.

Now I don't consider something learned until I've built it at least once.

A broken, messy practice project teaches you more than a perfectly watched tutorial ever will.

Then watch their team still doing everything manually.

I see it constantly,a business buys GoHighLevel, sets up Zapier, adds Airtable, maybe throws in a CRM.

Six months later? Their team is still doing manual follow-ups. Leads are still falling through the cracks. And nobody can explain what's actually connected to what.
The mistake isn't the tools. It's skipping the thinking.

Here's what usually happens:
โ†’ They automate tasks before mapping their process
โ†’ They connect apps without asking "what should happen next?"
โ†’ They build for today's problem, not the workflow behind it

The result? A pile of tools that don't talk to each other and a founder who's busier than before.

What should happen instead?
Start with the outcome. Work backwards.
"When a lead comes in, what exact steps need to happen and who (or what) handles each one?"

That is where automation becomes powerful. Not in the tool. In the clarity.
When businesses get this right, response times drop. Leads get nurtured automatically. The team focuses on work that actually needs humans.

The tech was never the hard part.
The thinking was.

What has been your experience with this? Have you ever bought a tool that ended up collecting digital dust?

The "Silent Assassin" Workflow That Destroyed My Reply Rates (In The Best Way Though)

You know that feeling when someone won't stop texting you? Yeah. Your prospects hate it too.

Most automators are making this mistake: firing off follow-ups like a desperate salesperson, wondering why nobody's responding.

The problem? They're competing with 47 other automators doing the exact same thing.

Here's what changed my game:
The GHL "Respect The Inbox" Framework:
Instead of โ†’ Send email โ†’ Wait 1 day โ†’ Send email โ†’ Wait 1 day โ†’ Spam spam spam

Do this โ†’ Send email โ†’ Wait 2-3 days โ†’ Check: Did they open it? Are they still a prospect? โ†’ THEN send follow-up

That second step is the magic. It's called a Conditional Delay, and it's the difference between being ignored and being remembered.

The results were wild:
34% higher open rates on my follow-ups
Clients started saying "I appreciate how you don't overwhelm me"
No more unsubscribes from people who were already ready to buy
My deliverability stayed clean (ISPs LOVE respect)

Why it actually works:
You're not just being polite, you're being smart. You're automating like a human, not a robot. Your prospects feel it.
Most people don't do this because it requires one extra step. And that's exactly why it works.

If this is your first time on this street, my name is Peace Iruo, your go-to for done-for-you systems that eliminate manual processes from your workflow using no-code/low-code tools.

Some days I'm debugging n8n workflows at midnight while making sure the school uniforms are ironed.

Some days I'm pitching my automation portfolio between helping with homework.

Some days I want to quit.

But here's what I've learnt:
You don't have to choose between being a great mum and being great at your career. You just have to be willing to show up differently.

Not because I'm superhuman. Because I stopped waiting for the "perfect" time and started building in the time I *had*.

If you're juggling right now, this is your sign that it's working. The fact that you're tired means you're *doing* something.

Your journey is allowed to look messy. Mine does. And it's still working.

Remote mums, we're not just surviving. We're building.

๐Ÿšจ What if someone is trashing your brand online right now and you don't even know?

Most businesses find out about a PR crisis hours too late. By then the damage is already done.

So I built a system that fixes exactly that.
Introducing my Automated Social Media Monitoring & Alert System - built entirely in n8n.

Here's how it works ๐Ÿ‘‡
โ–ช๏ธ Every 15 minutes the system goes out and fetches real news articles and web mentions of any keyword or brand name
โ–ช๏ธ It then classifies each mention as positive, negative or neutral using rule-based keyword matching - no AI needed
โ–ช๏ธ Negative mentions trigger an instant alert on Telegram so the team can respond before it escalates
โ–ช๏ธ Positive mentions are automatically saved in Airtable as testimonials for future marketing use
โ–ช๏ธEverything gets logged in Google Sheets - timestamp, content, sentiment and source URL

All of this runs automatically. Zero manual work.

Tools I used and why:
1. n8n - the automation engine that connects everything and runs the workflow on a schedule
2. Serper.dev - fetches real time news articles and web results matching the keyword being monitored
3. JavaScript (Code Node) - the logic that reads each article and decides if it is positive, negative or neutral
4. Telegram - delivers instant alerts to the team the moment a negative mention is detected
5. Airtable - stores positive mentions as a growing testimonials database
6. Google Sheets - central log where every single mention is recorded for reporting and analysis

Who needs this?
โ†’ Business owners who care about their reputation
โ†’ Marketing agencies managing multiple brands
โ†’ Hotels, clinics, ecommerce stores, coaches
One negative review left unattended can cost a business thousands. This system catches it in 15 minutes.

A client needed his sub-account from a different agency moved to his own agency account in Gohighlevel.

The Issue: there was no snapshot to pull from.
That meant manually rebuilding everything.
So we built it all from scratch.

Funnels. Landing pages. Memberships. Communities. Contacts. Pipelines. Forms. Surveys. Email templates. Campaigns.

All of it inside GoHighLevel.

This is what kept me from being active these past two weeks.

But I'm here now.

Still finding a balance between work, job hunting, upskilling, life, and staying visible on my socials.

But I am fully committed to show up, whenever I can.

Grateful to be back.

Not because I'm selling you something, but because the problem I'm about to describe is quietly bleeding your revenue and most owners don't catch it until customers stop coming back.

Here's what's happening behind the scenes of most e-commerce operations:
โ—‡ The team is manually copying order details into a spreadsheet.
โ—‡ Someone is chasing the warehouse on WhatsApp.
โ—‡ A support ticket has been open for 3 days because nobody saw it, and the refund request? Still sitting in an inbox.

The customer doesn't know any of this. They just know they feel ignored.
This is not a staffing problem. It's a workflow problem.

Here's what a properly built automation stack actually looks like:
โ— A webhook fires the moment an order is placed, data is structured and pushed into your ops board instantly, no human touch
โ— A Make.com scenario checks stock status in real time and routes the order, in-stock goes straight to fulfilment, out-of-stock triggers a customer notification & a restock alert to your supplier simultaneously
โ— A time-based trigger monitors every open order, if fulfilment hasn't updated status within some hours, an escalation alert fires to your ops manager automatically.
โ— Support tickets are parsed, tagged by issue type (refund / delay / wrong item), and routed to the right person with full order context already attached
โ— Refund requests trigger a conditional workflow, eligible ones are processed and confirmed without waiting for human approval, complex cases are flagged and escalated with context.
Every step connected. Every handoff automated. Nothing falling into someone's inbox to die.

The brands winning in e-commerce right now aren't just selling well, they're operating well. And the gap between a chaotic backend and a smooth one is almost always automation.
If your store is still running on copy-paste and manual follow-ups, that's not hustle. That's a liability you can fix.

Drop "AUTOMATE" in the comments or send me a DM right away, I'll take a look at your current workflow and show you exactly where the gaps are. No pitch, just clarity.
