Dear Business Owner,

Learn to sell the offer of your product and not the product itself.

Here's what I mean....

You probably must be wondering why you're not selling out your product.

And your competitors keep selling out.

Which can be very frustrating.

You see, "selling out" goes beyond having a good product.

There's something you've not been paying attention to.

And that's the place of your OFFER.

Creating Offers for your product is a surefire way to get your customers to buy and not leave you for the next Emeka.

It doesn't have to be that way.

You can skyrocket your sales by doing the following:

1) Make A Good Promise

Let's say you sell "wigs"
You can go this way instead of the normal "get your wigs from me"

"You won't be needing another wig for the next 2 years if you get this wig!"

You see what we did there?
Great!

That way you're making them a promise and they'd want you to keep your word.

Which is why…

You need to make sure that, whatever promise you make, you deliver on it.

Don't over-promise and under-deliver.

2) Give out something for FREE

You see, humans love free things.

And when you learn to give out FREE things that complement your product, they'd want to buy from you.

It doesn't have to cost you but it must be valuable to your customers.

It could come in form of FREE Delivery.

A nice pair of earrings to compliment that red dress.

A FREE Guide on how to mix different colors of outfits.

Just make it valuable and make sure it compliments your product

3) Offer Guarantee.

You see, after making a PROMISE and offering something for FREE.

You can add a guarantee to it, just so it becomes believable.

Here's why.

A guarantee makes them buy and put their minds to rest because they feel they are making the right choice

You can add a clause because humans love to abuse things.

" If after using this XYZ and you see no results in 20 days, you can ask for a refund ..if and only if you used it for 20 days consistently"

This reduces the number of people who won't use the product and ask for a refund.

The next time you want to put your product out there:

1) Make a good promise

2) Offer something for FREE

3) Offer Guarantee.

CONTENT WRITING VS COPYWRITING.

Content writing and Copywriting are very important for digital campaigns.

By digital campaign I mean, selling products or services through the internet.

While both are used for digital campaigns, it is very important to note their difference.

Content Writing Is the form of writing centered on distributing relevant and valuable content to educate, inform and entertain your audience.

For example: blog post about the benefits of meditation for mental health, an article about the history of a particular industry or technology, or a white paper exploring the economic impact of a particular policy or regulation.

It may drive sale but that is not it's goal.

Your content could be in form of...
- Blog post
- Ebooks
- Email newsletters
- White papers and lots more.

Copywriting on the other hand is the art of using persuasive/ emotion driven words to encourages the reader to take a particular action.

For example, a product description for a new line of skincare products might emphasize the benefits of natural ingredients and improved skin health, an email marketing campaign promoting a limited-time discount on a subscription service, or a sales page for a new online course highlighting the key features and benefits of the course and encouraging readers to sign up.

The goal of a copywriter is to sell a product or service or make your prospect take a desired action.

A Copywriter's content are in form of,

- Sales copy
- Landing pages
- Email copy
- Product pages and lots more

Before engaging in any digital campaign, it is very important to know the purpose of the campaign.

Is it to educate them or to make them take action.

Is it to pass information or to create a sense of urgency.

Is it to build trust or to sell a product or service.

As a business owner, you need to know the difference.

Don't parade yourself a Copywriter when you've not written any copy. ( even for practice sake)

To be a Copywriter, you need to write copy and not just read books on Copywriting.

3. Staying true to yourself and your values is essential for personal growth and development. Trying to be someone you are not can lead to feelings of inadequacy and prevent you from reaching your full potential.

4. It is essential to surround yourself with people who accept and appreciate you for who you are. Being in a group to which you don’t belong can be isolating and draining.

5. Focusing on yourself and taking care of your own needs is the best way to be happy and prosperous. Trying to fit in with a group that you don’t belong to can be a waste of time and energy.

1. The Rich Read Books.
They Don’t Watch TV

Read more books to learn and improve yourself, instead of spending time in front of the TV, or watching shows on your smartphone or tablet all the time.

It’s unproductive. Instead, spend most of your day reading books, developing yourself, and pursuing your goals.
The rich have a habit of always reading books which inspires them to take action.

2. The Rich Get Paid Based On Results, And Not On Time

In the construction of a building, who makes more money, the architect or the builders?

The architect makes more money because he is paid based on results; which is the unique structural design of the building.

Whereas the laborer or builder is paid based on the amount of time he has spent lifting bricks and blocks.

He is paid based on time because he doesn’t bring much value to the construction of the building.

Rich people are not paid by the hour, but by the value, they bring to the hour.

3. The Rich Take Responsibility For Their Failures

We all have a habit of blaming our failures and misfortune on someone else e.g. the economy, your boss, your friends…It’s easier to let someone else take the blame for something.

Rich people take full responsibility.

If things don’t go their way, they take responsibility for their actions. They don’t blame their misfortunes on other people. That's how they learn and change

People, who blame others for their misfortune, don’t see anything wrong with themselves.

That’s why they never learn. That’s why they stay in the same position in life, blaming others.

4. They Focus On Investing And Not Saving

Poor people always have this saving mentality; that by keeping aside or saving some part of their income or money, they can increase it

They buy the cheapest of things, cut down on their feeding, and deny themselves so many privileges to save money.

But the reality is, people, don’t get rich by saving a few bucks here and there. Your struggle with finances is a result of your income problem, not your savings problem.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying saving is wrong. We all need to save some money.

It’s the mentality and the reason behind it that really matters.

So many people just save money for the sake of saving money. And the reason for that is that they see money as fruits and harvests rather than seeds that can be planted to reap much more

Instead of focusing on saving money, focus on investing money, especially in yourself.

5. The Rich Learn Continuously

Poor people assume they know it all. They feel they don’t need to learn anything from anyone. They know how to structure their lives. They argue a lot on so many topics ranging from politics to football.

You should be humble and willing to learn. Rich people are always listening, asking questions, reading books, and continuously learning.
Stop assuming you know it all, and start learning.

BONUS: The Rich Believe Poverty Is The Root Of All Evil.
We have all heard the saying; “Money is the root of all evil”

No!

Poverty is the root of all evil; the lack of money is the root of all evil.

Take a look at the poorest neighborhoods, and countries. Crimes, drugs, corruption, and all sorts are rampant in those areas.

The struggle for survival is what makes them go into all sorts of crimes.

People have this mindset barrier that associates evil with money. How can they possibly hope to command wealth?

SELF-PITY DOESN'T HELP ANYBODY

I've been feeling stuck and lost for a while
Constantly feeling low and unable to stay productive..
It feels like I was trapped in between life...

Trapped in a place where it feels like I don't want to grow,
Uncertain of what the future may hold,
Feeling like my dreams have been sold
Lost in a sea of self-doubts.
Unable to find my way out..

I've had a fair share of some ups and downs in life, mostly the downs..
Failing in business, losses of loved ones, betrayals, all the shege Nigeria has been showing us since 2022 and oh I was almost homeless...

But I'm not here to tell you my story today
Maybe someday, I'll be able to tell it to inspire someone out there..

Maybe I needed help, someone to show up and save me from myself but I knew nobody was coming for me

I have to pick up myself and that my ass off coz I am the only one who can save me..

A friend once asked
How do you stay so positive and strong?
I just smiled and answered.....
I'm not always positive or strong, I cry on my pillows and in the shower too when I have the urge to cry..
I do feel like giving up too...

I just won't do it in your presence, oh how I hate being pitied...

But it's not like that for some people...
Some people chose to make themselves an object of self-pity..
You'll see them in every giveaway post and people's inboxes begging for money..
Telling all manner of pitiful stories for 2k-5k

Yes, your parents died and left you absolutely nothing..
Your rich uncle is not helping matters, I know that too..
I know say you don suffer for this life...
Oh dear I can't imagine what you must've been through...

But hey...
For how long????
How long will you continue to wallow in self-pity?
How long will you continue to tell every stranger online how life is hard for you?
When are you going to stop throwing these pity parties?
I'm not saying you shouldn't ask for help oo
It's okay to ask for help..

You know what's not okay?
Carrying your problems on your head like a placard without making any effort to solve the problem..
It is whining and lamenting every damn time..

Self-pity won't help you...
As the saying goes, "Heaven help those who help themselves"...

You wanna sit there dwelling in self-pity forever?
Be my guest..
Just know that No One Is Coming To Save You..

Stand up and clean yourself of that mess
Maybe
Just maybe when people see you try g to do something to better your life, they'll offer to help you...

The question most business owners and entrepreneurs are asking is "How can I get more clients and customers?", "How do I prospect?"

The key question you should be asking is "How can I get my clients and customers to come to me without me going to them?"

You see traditional prospecting method is like spearfishing..

I was once told by a very successful person (My mentor) that money is like a butterfly.

If you try to chase it, it would fly away and avoid you.

But if u put on something very colorful and sit patiently in position, it will come around and perch on you

Poor people spend all their lives chasing money and they never get it.
