MEET CRANLEIGH SCHOOL

Although we welcome both boarding and day pupils our school is full boarding in spirit; day pupils are fully included in house life and contribute much to its vitality. Pupils of all year groups are bonded by their inherent love of joining in; no-one at Cranleigh likes to stand still and that includes staff as well as pupils.

Fourth formers and others new to house life often comment on the friendliness between pupils and especially between year groups. Leavers will always testify to the lasting friendships they made at Cranleigh. As a boarding school in Sussex there is no shortage of activities we can offer to girls. With the vibrant city of Brighton just a few minutes away and the beautiful South Downs National Park on our doorstep, our boarders have a wealth of stimulating and exciting opportunities to take in over the weekends and in their free time. MEET BENEDEN SCHOOL

Benenden School is an independent boarding school for girls in Kent, England, in Hemsted Park at Benenden, between Cranbrook and Tenterden.

"At Benenden we have a fantastic Weekend Programme. We launched our new term with a zip wire on site, so the girls were having great fun. They were playing football, doing tai chi, face painting, and all sorts of activities. The difficulty is they don’t always want to go home: quite often students will ask parents to come in and watch them in their matches, and then they can have lunch in the dining room or have tea and stay for a few hours.

We are here for the girls, in every aspect, but we’re also here for the parents to be a part of Benenden life. We build a very enriching relationship with families which lasts way beyond Benenden."
