June Impact | BKU Waste Recycling

Every plastic bottle collected is one less bottle polluting our environment, blocking drainage systems, or contributing to flooding and the spread of diseases.

At BKU Waste Recycling, we believe that protecting our environment starts with taking action.

In June, we successfully supplied over 30 tonnes of baled PET plastic for recycling a milestone that reflects our commitment to responsible waste management and environmental sustainability.

This achievement is more than just a number. It represents thousands of plastic bottles diverted from our streets, communities, and waterways, helping to create cleaner surroundings and supporting efforts to reduce environmental pollution.

This progress would not have been possible without the dedication of our hardworking team. Every collection, every bale produced, and every truck loaded is the result of people who show up every day with commitment, resilience, and a shared purpose. We are proud of our team and grateful for their unwavering effort.

At BKU Waste Recycling, our mission goes beyond recycling. We are building a future where waste is seen not as a problem, but as a valuable resource that creates environmental, social, and economic impact.

As we continue to grow, we welcome partnerships with NGOs, development organizations, government agencies, businesses, and individuals who share our vision of a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future. Together, we can create lasting environmental impact and build stronger communities.

Together, we’re not just recycling waste we’re building a cleaner environment for generations to come. ♻️

Waste management is more than collecting materials. It is about building systems that protect the environment, support livelihoods, and create long-term value.

Every day, waste collectors play a vital role in keeping recyclable materials within the value chain. When waste is properly collected and recycled, communities benefit through cleaner surroundings and reduced environmental risks.

Through BKU Waste Recycling,♻️ we focus on strengthening this process supporting responsible waste handling, promoting recycling awareness, and encouraging youth participation in the sector.

As we continue to grow, our commitment remains clear: to contribute to sustainable waste management practices that create positive impact for communities and future generations.

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

A new year is a reminder that every small action matters. How we treat our environment today affects our health, our communities, and future opportunities, especially for young people.

At BKU Waste Recycling, we believe waste is not just a problem but a responsibility and an opportunity. Through proper waste management and recycling, we can protect our environment while creating space for youth involvement, skills, and sustainable livelihoods.

This year, let us all be more mindful of how we handle waste, support positive change, and contribute to a cleaner and safer environment for our communities.

Happy New Year 2026.
Together, we can do better.
