Our future should not be traded for short-term gains. We must rise above the culture of “money politics” and demand accountability, transparency, and true development from those who seek to lead us.

Let us protect our future—and that of the generations yet unborn.

As the political atmosphere continues to intensify, I urge our teaming youths to remain calm and focused. Let us show perseverance and wisdom in choosing leaders who will uphold our integrity and deliver meaningful democratic dividends to our dear local government.

It is evident that we have been left behind in terms of infrastructure development across many sectors. For too long, we have witnessed a pattern where politicians prioritize short-term financial handouts over sustainable development. Today, those temporary benefits are gone, but the absence of real progress remains. True development is not measured by small amounts of money shared, but by lasting projects and policies that improve lives.

I also encourage our youths to be mindful of inherited political enmity. Do not allow yourselves to be used to carry forward conflicts that do not serve your future. Often, those who appear as political rivals today may reconcile tomorrow, while the youth bear the consequences of division.

In conclusion, may Almighty Allah guide us in choosing leaders who will protect our integrity and bring genuine development to our local government.
