*TOPIC: SAVED TO SERVE, NOT TO BE SERVED*
_“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”_ *Matthew 20:28.*
*MESSAGE*
God, the Creator, made each man and woman with a divine purpose. Jesus came to this world with a purpose and accomplished it. Though Jesus is God and deserves to be served, He chose to serve and humbled Himself, taking on the form of a servant (Philippians 2:5-10). He did not come to be served, but to serve.
As believers, we are all called to be leaders because God has commissioned us to influence the world as salt and light. But how do we lead? Many ministers and believers enter into ministry with the wrong mindset—seeking to be served rather than to serve. The purpose of our creation, salvation, calling, appointment, and promotion is to serve. If we are not serving, we are not fulfilling God's divine purpose for our lives. Over the next few days, we will dive deeper into this vital topic.
*ACTION POINT*
🖋 Believers are saved to serve, not to be served. Ask yourself, are you a servant?
*SCRIPTURES*
