VERY INTERESTING UPDATE ON ECWA CANADA!!!
Praise the Lord, Covid rules and regulations have relaxed in Canada. This is definitely answer to prayers.
To God be the glory! ECWA Canada is beginning in-person worship this Sunday April 24th in "Port Credit, Mississauga, " on this address: 157 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga, ON L5H 1G3. This would be temporarily for now, in the Westege Community Church building, which they have graciously allowed ECWA Canada to use for worship service.

Our mother, whom God gave the vision and burden to reach Sudan with the gospel, Mrs. Margaret Gowans, was a Scottish Canadian and guess what? The Pastor of Westedge Community Church is also Scottish Canadian and was excited to know that ECWA is a church founded by one of his ‘kinsmen’ who was in Canada just like he is today! He is so willing to help ECWA Canada start off on good footing!
Furthermore, the location of this Church is a stone throw away, in fact few minutes walk to Lake Ontario, where our missionaries in 1893 set sail, to begin what was known then as the Sudan Mission! Hallelujah!
An ECWA Member in diaspora in Canada, called our Missionaries early March this year, and told them how she has been challenging some Canadians about how her home church ECWA, was planted by SIM Missionaries that went to the Sudan as a result of the prayer of a Canadian woman Mrs. Margaret Gowans. When she told our Missionaries the city she was staying and calling from, unknown to her and to her very pleasant surprise, it turned out to be Hamilton. Our Missionaries then told her that Hamilton is the very place where SIM Missionaries were sent from and the home city of Gowans family!
