STATES CREATION & THAT ANIOMA PUSH

"I don't have any issue with the creation of Anioma state as being pushed by Distinguished Senator Ned Woko. In fact, it is a welcome development that is predicated on the principle of fair play, equity and justice. The South East cannot continue to have 5 states when every other geopolitical zone has 6, with the North West even having 7. However, Edo land is Edo land and cannot be ceded to another zone under any guise. If anybody or group in Edo land considers she's from another ethnic stock and is, therefore, desirous of joining her kith and kin, she's very free to do so. But she has to leave Edo soil, relocate and join her preferred kith in the proposed Anioma State. No inch of Edo land in Orhionmwon and Igueben LGAs should be lost to another zone under any design of state creation. This is a clarion call on our 3 Senators & 9 Federal Reps to wake up to the occasion and preserve our Edo territorial heritage. For this, our Distinguished Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomole is expected to lead the pack. His wide outreach, uncommon courage and flawless oratory prowess are the ingredients we desperately need now. He should deploy with clinical precision for this purpose.
