I saw a post the other day where somebody said, "Forex is a scam."

well, Forex is not a scam, so I take it that the person actually meant to say, "Forex trading is a scam."

And the mere act of saying it the way he/she did means the person is an amateur.

And amateurs in any field can say anything when they experience a bit of failure or a consistent cycle of failure... stemming from a number of things, including their inexperience, impatience, and having high expectations with minimal effort.

Forex trading doesn't work like that. It is not a get rich quick opportunity. You could go 5 years and not turn profitable.

That's what most amateurs don't know, and they're unwilling to sit under a mentor to learn.

Forex trading can make you a millionaire, but it requires time investment from you. It's not overnight.

Another mistake newbies make...

Coming into the market with money you can not afford to lose.

Wrong move!

The market can take from you before it will even give to you. Besides that...

Coming into the market with money you can not afford to lose makes you take every trade with fear and anxiety.

When you trade in this manner, your thoughts become messed up.

You don't need this in trading.

Well, there's much to learn to become a successful trader, and it begins with mastering your emotions.
