POST-UTME SCREENING OF CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION INTO THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OTUOKE FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University Otuoke invites applications from suitable JAMB UTME candidates for Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Interested candidates are to be guided by the following information.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION

The following categories of JAMB UTME candidates are eligible to apply:

a. Candidates who selected the Federal University Otuoke as their first choice in the 2024/2025JAMB UTME and chose any of the programmes listed in 9. below and scored a minimum of 140.

b. Interested candidates who did not choose Federal University Otuoke as their first choice but wish to study in Federal University Otuoke and scored a minimum of 140 in the 2024/2025JAMB UTME.

Candidates in the second category 1(b) above, must do a Change of Institution to Federal University Otuoke via JAMB website (www.jamb.org.ng) and choose any of the programmes listed in 9. below.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are to make a Non-refundable payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only, using an Interswitch Verve or Mastercard debit Bank cards for the application form. Candidates are to read these instructions completely before applying.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE ONLINE APPLICATION

Candidates are required to upload the following documents:

Digital Passport-size photograph

Scanned copy of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB O’ level result (in PDF format)

ADVERTISEMENT FOR 2024/2025 POST-UTME SCREENING

The University of Port Harcourt hereby invites candidates who chose the University as First Choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 160, to apply for Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University.

ONLINE REGISTRATION DATE

Registration will commence on Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 and close on Friday, 19th August, 2024
Candidates are expected to log in to https://utmedetails.uniport.edu.ng/welcome_utme.php for the registration procedure.

IMPORTANT DATES AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Candidates should visit the University website www.uniport.edu.ng and adhere strictly to the Registration Procedure.
- Eligible candidates are to input UTME Registration Number and confirm pre-loaded UTME details.
- Generate Remita Code for payment with your Master, Visa or Verve Card etc. OR Print out Payment Slip and proceed to any of the following Banks with Remita Platform (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK) and make payment of N2,000.00 only.
- Obtain a Remita Receipt showing an Access Code from the Bank Teller confirming the payment.
- Proceed online again and Login with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code on the payment slip, from Wednesday, 24th July, 2024.
- Complete the Form online as requested. Candidates who are awaiting their O’Level Result(s) should so indicate.
- Click on the “submit button” and print Registration Slip for the Screening Exercise.
SCHEDULE FOR THE 2024 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

Further details and schedule of the Screening Exercise will be announced in due course. Candidates should, therefore, check the University website from time to time.

CANDIDATES WHO FAIL TO REGISTER WITHIN THE REGISTRATION PERIOD WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE
