Today is the big day! 🌟

We are buzzing with excitement as the WomenTech Network Global Awards 2025 is set to announce the winners.

It fills us with so much pride to be cheering on our Founder, Aghama Jesurobo, as a finalist for the Community Award.

This nomination isn't just about one person. It is a celebration of the meaningful work happening right here at MumsWhoCode. It shines a light on our shared mission:

✨ Proving that "mother" and "tech leader" are a powerful combination
✨ creating a safe, inclusive village for women to learn, pivot, and grow
✨ Bridging the digital skills gap for mums returning to the workforce
✨ Building confidence through skills, community, and mentorship

To every single person who has voted, shared our story, or cheered us on: Thank you. Your support means the world to us, our volunteer mentors, and every mum working late nights to upskill.

There is still a tiny window to cast a final vote before the announcement!

Your sharing doesn’t only show that you believe in our work, it also helps to raise awareness and help mothers find us.

She refused to be relegated to the background. 🚀

We are thrilled to announce that our Founder, Aghama Jesurobo , has been named a FINALIST by the WomenTech Network for the Women in Tech Global Awards 2025 (Community Award Category)! 🏆

To everyone who voted and supported us to reach this finalist stage, thank you. Your belief in our work made this milestone possible. 💜

Aghama founded MumsWhoCode to answer a critical question: “Can mothers really succeed in tech?”

Her answer was born from her own reality. As she shares:
“I started this initiative because I needed to stay relevant as a tech professional and wanted to include other like-minded mothers in my quest for professional growth. I have seen too many brilliant women giving up on their tech dreams; not because they couldn’t do the work, but because they lost the resources and agency to thrive.”

For Aghama, building this community is not just a project—it is her “sweet spot” and the vital area where she has chosen to make her mark.

This nomination honours every woman she has walked alongside; from the virtual classrooms of our Digital Women Bootcamp to the workshops of the AnitaB.org Nigeria Community and the global cohorts of Unit Masters.

We need your help to bring this Community Award home! 🗳️

If you believe in our mission to keep women in the foreground of innovation, please support our founder.
