Do you know that the Imo Airport was the first community-driven Airport to be built in Africa?

In 1983, our fathers, the indegenes and people of Old Imo State generously contributed money to build the first and only community-driven Airport we all are using today.

If 1million Imo Indegenes today contribute 50,000naira each we can raise 50billion naira to build income generating projects (Agricultural settlements) that our own children and children's children will stand to benefit. This can be replicated in other States.

But for where???? We go prefer to use the 50k do dorimeor dash am pastor as tithe and offering....

I am sure beyond reasonable doubt that the Government is not the cause of my problems.

In 2023, Nigeria's total electronic payment transactions was N600 trillion as reported by the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS).

If the country imposes a 0.5% cybersecurity levy on these transactions, Government would have raised N3 trillion. If you factor in that not all these transactions will qualify, you can have N1.5 trillion or $1.5 billion in the coffers of the government.

The point is that Government needs all the money it can get from the Nigerians people to provide the dividends of democracy to the Nigerian people. No be Everytime borrow borrow borrow borrow at the expense of our children and children's children.

Eclipses are a sharp reminder of how our lives depend on the sun. Within just three minutes of the moon blocking the light and heat of the sun, temperatures fall, the wind direction changes and it feels refreshingly cool - just like that!

Of course it is something we experience every night, but few of us have ever thought out the full meaning of it.

When the sun sets at, say, 6.30pm, it stays getting cool. By 6am the following day, it is very cool indeed and if the sky is cloudy such that the sun cannot hit the ground, it starts getting cold.

Imagine what will happen if the sun does not return to impart fresh heat to the Earth. By 2pm the following day, rivers will start freezing. By evening, all buildings, hills and mountains would have radiated all their heat and everything will start freezing. A day or two more, the oceans will be solid frozen and in about a month, Photosynthesis will stop and all green leaves will turn white and go sclerotic. Animals that eat grass will die from starvation and from the cold. Those that eat meat will die next.

Earth will be close to Absolute Zero in about a month. The sea will become superionic - extremely hard and black ice, which is the standard of water in space.

Earth is a supercold planet flying around in complete darkness if not for the sun that heats it up daily. The sun is Earth's umbilical cord. It is our life giver and it dare not stop shining for a day or it will take us a century or more to recover.
