I am happy that finally, young people are speaking up.
I have always wondered how People in big cities like Lagos cope with the crazy traffic and high population.
The pollution, noise, chaos, disorder and lack of structure that I have witnessed in Oyo, Ogbomoso and Ilorin almost broke me. I cried when I first attended lectures in this school; I didn't know it was normal in Lagos- chaos, disorder, and noise (a huge part of our student population is from Lagos).
You get my point?
A young guy (looks like a recent graduate or so) posted on TikTok about his movement as a worker without a car in Lagos. I saw his movements- jumping from one bus to another, making a series of payments, running after trains and buses, and seriously, it broke me.
If a person wants to realistically live a healthy life, they're supposed to sleep for at least 8 hours and eat good food (which is highly likely the food you cooked yourself, you're the only one who can guarantee the safety and nutrition of the food), exercise and rest, with good mental health.
How is that possible when you wake up at 4am and return to work at 10 or 11pm? And you're likely on the bench if you're an average desk worker.
This ain't life.
