THIS STORY IS SPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THEMSELVES...
Once upon a time, a raven was very unhappy with his life. One day, he started crying while sitting on the branch of a tree. Among was also sitting under that tree, just then a drop of that Raven's tears fell on the monks cheek. The monk raised his head and saw the raven crying, the monk asked him, what's that matter my friend, why are you crying?
The raven replied, oh wise one I am very unhappy with my life, no one loves me, everyone seems to chase me away in disgrace, no one gives me anything to eat, death is better than such a life. Hearing this words, the monks heart was filled with compassion. He said to the raven, my friend we must learn to be happy on whatever condition we find ourselves.
Then the monk asked him, tell me “what do you want to be and I will make you that with my montra"
The raven became happy and said if you will make me a swan. The monk replied “Okay, I will make you a swan but before then, go to the swan and ask him if he is happy with his life or not till then I will wait for you here".
The raven happily for away to meet swan. He found swan inside a pond and he said to him “how beautiful you are, you are as white as milk, everyone loves you, you must be the happiest bird in the world". Then the swan said to the raven.
“No dear, I am not happy. There are so many beautiful colours in the world, white is a nothing color, I think parrot must be the happiest bird in the world, he is so colourful". Hearing this, the raven flew away from there to meet the parrot.
He then said to the parrot “oh parrot, you are so colourful and beautiful, you must be the happiest bird in the world". The parrot said to the raven “No, my friend I am not happy, people always keep parrot in a cage and I am meant to be a free bird. It think Peacock is the most happiest girl in the world, it's outward is more colourful than mine".
Then the raven flew round to find a peacock and after a long time of searching, he found it. He said to him “Hey peacock, you are so beautiful. every day thousands of people come to see you but whenever they see me, they throw me away, you must be the happiest bird in the world".
The Peacock replied, “I used to think that I was the happiest bird on the planet but because of my beauty, I am entrapped in this zoo. When people pluck my feathers to make decorative things, it hurts me a lot. He took a big sigh and said I am not happy my friend".
Then the raven said, if you are not happy then tell me who you think is the happiest bird in the world.
The peacock replied it is you, my friend. I have examined this too and I discovered that you are the happiest bird in the world. You are not kept in my cage, people don't try to catch you and trap you in the cage. If I had an opportunity, I would be you.
The raven flew away from there and for the first time, he was feeling happy to be a raven. He flew back to the monk and said “Oh wise one, I don't want to be anything, I am happy with what I am".
