1. Someone asked, the difference between Safety and Security.
Ans. Safety in simple terms is the protection of humans from unplanned injury, environment from unplanned pollution or contamination and equipment or properties from unplanned damage.
In the other hand Security is the protection of humans, environment and properties from human planned or willful damage.
The word unplanned and plan makes the difference.
E.g. when robbers attacks, it is done out of (the robbers') human plan. So the system put in place to protect humans from this is security.
The system put in place to protect from unplanned (accidental) occurrence is SAFETY.
