My three weeks in Master Class 4.0 I would say is a life changing one for me. Before now, if you tell me that I could acquire a lot of lessons from one month class I would say 'it is too good to be true, it is impossible'. Furthermore, fueling my curiosity our trainer/instructor in the person of Mr. Ohemu Pius Godwin taught that confidence is not a commodity sold at SPI instead a destination achieved.
Shortly into the experience of the training, my notion about public speaking changed entirely.
The classes has been an intense drilling and learning experience which has shaped my public speaking skill greatly. Three areas that this change will be seen are as follows;
Firstly, how I can be a public speaker and still maintain being 'Me'. For a very long time I have struggle with the 'H' Factor accent issue and it has indeed affected my self esteem and limited my growth in public speaking. But with this class I have been able to overcome my self doubts.
Secondly, the camera shy lady that I have been all my life have been overcome. Infact, this was done on our very first assignment that includes a video of myself. For this reason, I am at the edge of transforming my public speaking skill to a greater height.
Lastly, the essence of enrollment in this school has been fulfilled which is the aspect of my self confidence. At SPI Master Class 4.0 I was taught by my trainer to speak, to express and not to impress, which I was guilty of. Before now, whenever I am given the opportunity to speak I am always clouded with the question, what if? What if the audience don't like my presentation? What if they are not impressed? All this thoughts starts clouding my mind, at the end I am Left with doubts about myself. With this training, I have been able to overcome this aspect of me and i am on the verge to becoming a better version of me who want to express myself and not to impress anyone.
I would boldly say Master Class 4.0 is worth the shot!
