The GCPBS Economic and Public Policy Roundtable is a quarterly event designed to bring together thought leaders, policy makers, industry experts, and academia to discuss and proffer solutions to key economic, socio-political, and financial issues affecting Nigeria.
The primary objective is to help the Nigerian economy achieve its full potential and reclaim its status as a past giant of Africa.
This event will also be broadcast on various social media platforms to reach a wider audience and ensure that the discussions and recommendations are
accessible to all stakeholders.
Objectives
i. To deliberate on pressing economic, socio-political, and financial issues in Nigeria.
ii. To provide actionable solutions and policy recommendations.
iii. To foster collaboration between academia, industry, and government.
iv. To educate and engage the public through online broadcasts (using platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, and other podcast mediums).
Expected outcomes from the Economic and Public Policy Roundtable include:

➢ Enhanced collaboration and networking among stakeholders.
➢ Adoption and implementation of proposed solutions by relevant authorities and organizations.

In this maiden edition, we have a profound Guest Speaker, Professor Uche Uwaleke, the First Professor of Capital Market in Nigeria from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
He will be speaking on: How Nigeria’s Tax Reform Laws(2025) will affect Individual and Corporate Taxpayers.
