🇳🇬🗳️ OSUN IS ABOUT TO MAKE A BIG DECISION!

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 15, 2026, Osun State goes to the polls for its governorship election.

And this isn't just another election.

INEC says 1,906,390 voters have collected their PVCs and are eligible to vote, out of 2,339,233 registered voters in the state.

With the major candidates battling for the Osun Government House, attention is now turning to one question:

WHO WILL THE PEOPLE OF OSUN CHOOSE? đź‘€

Will the election favour the incumbent administration?

Will the opposition pull off a surprise?

Or will the voters produce a result that shocks everyone?

Whatever happens tomorrow, Nigerians will be watching closely.

And the most important thing is this: let the people's votes count. 🇳🇬

👇 If you were an Osun voter, what would be the ONE issue you would consider before choosing your governor?

🇳🇬💔 NIGERIA, THIS ONE REALLY HURTS!

The Super Falcons have officially missed the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time in their history.

Nigeria lost 2–1 to South Africa in Casablanca, ending their hopes of reaching the 2027 Women's World Cup. South Africa scored through Thembi Kgatlana and Refiloe Jane, while Christy Ucheibe pulled one back late—but it wasn't enough.

And that's the painful part...

For a team that had never missed a Women's World Cup since the competition began, this is more than just another defeat.

It raises serious questions:

👉 What went wrong with the Super Falcons?
👉 Is the problem the players, the coaching, or the football administration?
👉 And most importantly, what needs to change before Nigeria can return to the top?

The Falcons will have four years to rebuild.

But Nigerians will not forget this night anytime soon. 🇳🇬💔

Do you think this is the time for a complete reset of Nigerian women's football?

👇 Be honest. What went wrong?

THE LAST VOICE NOTE

Season 7: The Father Who Was Supposed to Be Dead

David couldn't speak.

His father had died when he was eight.

He remembered the funeral.

He remembered his mother's tears.

He remembered the coffin.

He remembered standing beside the grave.

Yet the photograph in front of him was dated three years ago.

And his father was standing in it.

Alive.

"This has to be fake," David whispered.

Michael shook his head.

"Look at the background."

David examined the photograph carefully.

Behind his father was the same abandoned warehouse where Zara had been investigating.

On the wall was a faded company logo.

Michael zoomed in.

PHOENIX LOGISTICS.

David's stomach tightened.

"Project Phoenix..."

Michael nodded.

"Exactly."

---

They spent the entire night searching through Michael's old newspaper archives.

At 4:17 a.m., Michael found something.

A newspaper article from twenty-two years earlier.

LOCAL BUSINESSMAN DIES IN MYSTERIOUS CAR CRASH.

The victim:

Samuel Okoro.

David's father.

But beneath the headline was a photograph.

David stared at it.

The date was wrong.

The accident had supposedly happened in 2004.

Yet the police report attached to the article had been filed two days after the supposed funeral.

Something wasn't right.

Michael pulled another file.

"Your father's death certificate was issued six months after the accident."

David stared at him.

"Why would it take six months?"

Michael replied quietly,

"Because someone wanted everyone to believe he was dead."

---

The following morning, David received a text from an unknown number.

"You finally found him."

Another message arrived.

"Come to the old railway bridge at midnight."

Then:

"Come alone."

David immediately knew who "him" meant.

His father.

---

At midnight, David arrived at the bridge.

The river below was almost completely hidden by darkness.

He waited.

Ten minutes.

Twenty.

Then headlights appeared.

An old black sedan stopped several meters away.

The driver's door opened.

An older man stepped out.

Grey hair.

Walking stick.

A scar above his left eyebrow.

David's heart stopped.

The man looked at him.

"You've grown."

David couldn't move.

"Dad?"

The man lowered his head.

"I'm sorry."

David's eyes filled with tears.

"You were alive all this time?"

His father nodded.

"I had no choice."

"You left us!"

"I was protecting you."

David shouted,

"Protecting us from what?"

His father looked toward the road.

"From the people who killed your sister."

David froze.

"You knew Zara was investigating them?"

"I helped her."

Then his father said something that changed everything.

"Zara wasn't the first person in our family to investigate Project Phoenix."

He paused.

"Your mother was."

David stared at him.

"Mum?"

His father nodded.

"And she didn't die of natural causes either."

Before David could ask another question...

A vehicle screeched around the corner.

Gunshots rang out.

His father pushed David to the ground.

BANG! BANG!

The car sped away.

When David looked up...

His father was bleeding.

But he was still conscious.

He grabbed David's shirt and whispered:

"Find your mother's red diary."

Then he pointed toward an old house across the river.

"Everything you need is inside."

To Be Continued...

❤️ David has now discovered that Zara, his father, and his mother were all connected to the same mystery.

THE LAST VOICE NOTE

Season 6: The Evidence on the Tracks

The train horn screamed.

David looked at Daniel.

Then at the flash drive lying on the railway track.

The train was seconds away.

He had a choice.

Save himself...

Or risk everything for the evidence Zara had died trying to protect.

David jumped onto the track.

He grabbed the flash drive and rolled away just as the train thundered past.

For several seconds, he lay frozen beside the tracks.

Then he heard Daniel groan.

"Daniel!"

David ran back.

Blood covered Daniel's shirt, but he was still breathing.

"Stay with me!"

Daniel grabbed his arm.

"Don't... take me to a hospital."

"Why?"

Daniel struggled to speak.

"Because Bassey will find you there."

David stared at him.

"Who shot you?"

Daniel looked toward the darkness.

"Not Bassey."

"Someone above him."

Before David could ask another question, Daniel lost consciousness.

---

David called an ambulance from a hidden location.

Daniel was taken to a private clinic under a false name.

The doctor later told David,

"The bullet missed his heart by a few centimeters."

He was alive.

Barely.

David sat beside him until morning.

Then Daniel opened his eyes.

"You got it?"

David held up the flash drive.

"I got it."

Daniel smiled.

"Then Zara didn't die for nothing."

---

David took the flash drive to Michael.

They connected it to an isolated computer.

There were dozens of files.

Bank statements.

Photographs.

Recorded conversations.

Video footage.

Names.

Dates.

Locations.

The evidence was overwhelming.

But one file stood out.

ZARA_FINAL_VIDEO.mp4

David clicked it.

The screen went black.

Then Zara appeared.

She looked frightened.

But she was speaking directly to the camera.

"David, if you're watching this, I'm probably already dead."

David covered his mouth.

Zara continued.

"I discovered something about the people behind Project Phoenix."

She paused.

"But the most dangerous person isn't Inspector Bassey."

Michael leaned closer to the screen.

Zara whispered:

"It's someone much closer to us."

The video suddenly glitched.

Then her voice became barely audible.

"David... don't trust..."

The screen went black.

Again.

David slammed his fist on the desk.

"Not again!"

Michael quickly checked the file.

"Someone edited this too."

But then Michael noticed something.

There was a hidden folder beneath the video.

He opened it.

Inside was a single photograph.

Zara was standing beside a man.

David recognized the location immediately.

It was the warehouse.

But the man beside Zara wasn't Inspector Bassey.

It wasn't Daniel.

It wasn't anyone from the police.

It was someone David had never suspected.

His father.

David stared at the photograph in disbelief.

"That's impossible."

His father had died when David was only eight.

Michael slowly shook his head.

"David..."

"I don't think your father died when you were eight."

David turned toward him.

"What are you saying?"

Michael pointed at the photograph.

"Look at the date."

David looked.

The photograph was taken three years ago.

THE LAST VOICE NOTE

Season 5: The Friend Who Sold the Truth

David's phone continued to ring.

DANIEL CALLING...

His finger hovered over the screen.

Michael whispered,

"Don't answer."

The ringing stopped.

A few seconds later...

Another message appeared.

«"David, please... let me explain."»

Before David could respond, another message arrived.

«"They're watching you."»

Then another.

«"If you answer this phone, don't mention Zara."»

David looked at Michael.

"What do I do?"

Michael thought for a moment.

"Meet him."

"But don't let him know where you really are."

---

An hour later, David sent Daniel a message.

«"Meet me at Riverside Park. 6:00 p.m."»

It was a lie.

David had no intention of going there.

Instead, he watched the park from the roof of a nearby shopping complex with binoculars.

At exactly six o'clock...

Daniel arrived.

He looked nervous.

He kept checking his watch.

Then something unexpected happened.

A black SUV pulled up beside him.

Inspector Bassey stepped out.

The two men shook hands.

David's heart shattered.

There was no misunderstanding.

No coincidence.

His best friend had been meeting the very man suspected of covering up Zara's death.

Then Inspector Bassey handed Daniel a thick brown envelope.

Daniel opened it.

Bundles of cash.

David's hands began to shake so badly that he nearly dropped the binoculars.

"He sold us..." he whispered.

---

That night, Daniel appeared outside David's apartment.

He knocked for almost twenty minutes.

No answer.

As he turned to leave, he quietly slipped an envelope under the door.

David didn't return until midnight.

Inside the envelope was a handwritten letter.

«David...

I know what you've seen.

I know you think I betrayed you.

If I were in your shoes, I'd think the same.

But I never betrayed Zara.

I was forced to work for them.

They kidnapped someone I love.

Every payment you've seen was money they gave me to keep quiet.

I've been trying to protect you from the inside.

Tomorrow, they'll move the final file.

If they succeed, Zara's death will officially become a closed case forever.

Meet me alone... one last time.

If I don't survive... tell my daughter I tried to do the right thing.»

David read the letter three times.

His anger slowly turned into confusion.

Was Daniel lying?

Or had he been trapped all along?

---

The following evening, David arrived at the abandoned train station mentioned in the letter.

The place was deserted.

Only Daniel stood on the platform.

He looked exhausted.

Older.

Broken.

Without saying a word, he handed David a small flash drive.

"Everything is on it," he whispered.

"Bank records... names... videos... everything Zara died trying to expose."

David reached for it.

Suddenly...

A red laser beam appeared on Daniel's chest.

David's eyes widened.

"Daniel..."

Before he could finish...

BANG!

A single gunshot echoed across the empty station.

Daniel fell backward.

The flash drive slipped from his hand...

And landed on the railway tracks.

At that exact moment...

A freight train's horn blasted through the night.

It was only seconds away.

To Be Continued...

THE LAST VOICE NOTE

Season 4: Michael Was Never Just a Name

David's heart pounded.

Inspector Bassey took another step forward.

His voice was calm.

Too calm.

"Give me the phone, David."

"You don't know what you're holding."

David tightened his grip around the old phone Zara had hidden beneath the floorboards.

"Then tell me," he replied.

"Why did my sister hide it?"

The inspector smiled.

"Because she was stubborn."

"Just like you."

Without warning, David hurled an old metal toolbox toward the warehouse lights.

CRASH!

Darkness swallowed the room.

The masked men shouted.

David sprinted through the maze of rusty machines.

A gunshot echoed behind him.

The bullet struck a steel beam just inches from his head.

He kept running.

He didn't stop until he reached his car.

Moments later, he disappeared into the night.

---

Back at his apartment, David finally charged the second phone.

The screen lit up.

It had no password.

No contacts.

No photos.

Only one saved number.

MICHAEL.

David dialed it immediately.

The phone rang.

Once.

Twice.

Then...

"This number is no longer in service."

His shoulders dropped.

Another dead end.

Just as he was about to hang up, he noticed something unusual.

The contact had an attached note.

It read:

"If I'm gone, don't call. Find him at The Daily Truth."

The Daily Truth?

David searched online.

It wasn't a person.

It was an old newspaper company that had shut down years ago.

---

The next morning, David drove to the abandoned newspaper office.

Dust covered every desk.

Broken computers were scattered everywhere.

The place looked forgotten.

As he turned to leave, he heard a cough from upstairs.

An elderly man slowly walked down the staircase.

He wore thick glasses and carried a stack of yellowed newspapers.

"You're looking for Michael," the old man said.

David froze.

"You know him?"

The man smiled sadly.

"I am Michael."

---

Michael had once been one of the country's most respected investigative journalists.

Years earlier, Zara had secretly contacted him after discovering documents that exposed a powerful criminal network involving politicians, businessmen...

And senior police officers.

"She wasn't investigating an accident," Michael said quietly.

"She was investigating people who made accidents look real."

David felt a chill run through his body.

"What documents?"

Michael walked to an old filing cabinet.

He unlocked the bottom drawer.

Inside was a thick envelope labeled:

PROJECT PHOENIX

"Zara gave me copies for safekeeping," he whispered.

"She said if anything happened to her, one day you'd come."

David slowly opened the envelope.

Inside were photographs.

Bank transfers.

Secret meeting records.

And one final picture.

The moment David saw it...

His knees nearly gave way.

Standing beside Inspector Bassey...

Laughing together...

Was someone he trusted with his life.

Someone who had comforted him at Zara's funeral.

Someone who had promised to help him find the truth.

His own best friend...

Daniel.

At that exact moment, David's phone began to ring.

The caller ID showed only two words:

THE LAST VOICE NOTE

Season 3: The Warehouse of Secrets

David couldn't ignore the warning.

"Stop searching... or you're next."

Most people would have gone to the police.

But David no longer knew who he could trust.

The police had insisted Zara died in a road accident.

Yet her phone proved she had spent her final forty minutes in an abandoned warehouse miles away from where her body was found.

Someone had lied.

---

The next evening, David drove to the warehouse alone.

The building stood at the edge of town, surrounded by tall grass and rusted shipping containers.

Its windows were broken.

The giant metal doors hung open.

Inside, everything was covered in dust.

Old machines.

Broken chairs.

Empty boxes.

It looked abandoned for years.

Yet...

Fresh tyre marks led straight to the entrance.

Someone had been there recently.

David switched on his flashlight and walked deeper inside.

Suddenly...

His foot hit something.

It was a silver bracelet.

His heart nearly stopped.

He recognized it immediately.

It belonged to Zara.

She wore it every single day.

---

As he picked it up, he noticed strange scratches on the concrete floor.

They formed a trail.

Following them, he reached an old office at the back of the warehouse.

The room had been completely emptied.

Except for one thing.

A single wooden desk.

Inside the drawer was a torn notebook page.

Only half of the message remained.

«"...Meeting moved to 8:30 p.m. Don't let Zara leave with the file..."»

David read it over and over.

"The file?" he whispered.

"What file?"

Before he could think further...

He heard footsteps upstairs.

Slow.

Heavy.

Someone else was inside the warehouse.

David quickly turned off his flashlight.

The footsteps stopped.

Silence.

Then...

A man's voice echoed through the darkness.

"I know you're here."

David held his breath.

The stranger continued.

"You should have listened to the warning."

David quietly backed away.

His hand touched something loose beneath the floorboards.

He lifted one wooden plank.

Hidden underneath...

Was another phone.

Old.

Dusty.

Its battery was dead.

A small label was stuck to the back.

Written in Zara's handwriting were four words:

"If I disappear..."

David swallowed hard.

He turned the phone over.

The sentence continued.

"...give this to Michael."

Michael?

David searched his memory.

He had never heard Zara mention anyone by that name.

Who was Michael?

A friend?

A witness?

Or the person she had tried to name in the voice note?

Just then...

The warehouse lights suddenly came on.

David blinked.

Standing at the entrance were three men dressed in black.

One of them smiled.

"Found it, didn't you?"

The tallest man slowly removed his cap.

David's face went pale.

He recognized him instantly.

It was Inspector Bassey...

The same police officer who had investigated Zara's "accident."

The inspector smiled coldly and said,

"Hand me the phone, David..."

"Or you'll end up exactly where your sister did."

THE LAST VOICE NOTE

Season 2: The Voice They Tried to Erase

David barely slept.

For three days, he kept checking his phone, waiting for the technician to call.

Finally, on the fourth morning, his phone rang.

"Mr. David... I recovered part of the recording."

"You need to come immediately."

---

David rushed to the repair shop.

The technician locked the front door before speaking.

"I've restored about six minutes of the recording."

"But something about this doesn't feel right."

David frowned.

"Why?"

The technician turned his laptop toward him.

"The file wasn't damaged by accident."

"Someone connected this phone to a computer just two hours after Zara died."

"They opened the recording... deleted parts of it... and tried to make it look corrupted."

David's hands began to shake.

"Can I hear it?"

The technician nodded.

He pressed play.

The sound of rain returned.

Then Zara's trembling voice filled the room.

«"David... if you're hearing this, it means I couldn't tell you in person."»

She took a deep breath.

«"The accident wasn't an accident..."»

David stopped breathing.

«"Someone has been following me for weeks."»

The recording continued with hurried footsteps in the background.

«"I made a mistake. I trusted someone I shouldn't have..."»

A car horn blasted.

Then Zara whispered something that made David's blood run cold.

«"If anything happens to me... don't trust—"»

The audio suddenly crackled.

Static.

Silence.

The sentence ended there.

She never finished the name.

---

David slammed his fist on the table.

"Who was she talking about?"

The technician shook his head.

"The rest of that sentence is completely gone."

"It's as if someone targeted only those few seconds."

---

As David prepared to leave, the technician looked uneasy.

"There's something else."

He opened another folder.

"While recovering the file, I found hidden GPS data."

"This phone wasn't at the road where Zara supposedly died."

David stared at him.

"What?"

"According to the phone's location history..."

The technician zoomed in on the map.

"The last place Zara recorded this voice note was an old warehouse on the outskirts of town."

"She was there for almost forty minutes."

David whispered,

"Then... why did the police say she died on the highway?"

The technician had no answer.

Just then...

A loud crash came from outside.

The shop's front window shattered.

Both men ducked.

A brick rolled across the floor.

Wrapped around it was a piece of paper.

David slowly unfolded it.

Written in thick black ink were just six words:

"Stop searching... or you're next."

David looked toward the broken window.

Across the street, a man wearing a black hoodie stood watching.

The moment their eyes met...

The man turned...

And disappeared into the crowd.

THE LAST VOICE NOTE

Season 1: The Message She Never Sent

The rain fell heavily on the day Zara was buried.

No one spoke much.

Some cried.

Others simply stared at the coffin as it disappeared beneath the earth.

The police had already closed the case.

Cause of death: Road accident.

A drunk driver.

A tragic mistake.

End of story.

At least...

That's what everyone believed.

Her younger brother, David, refused to accept it.

Zara wasn't just his sister.

She had raised him after their parents died.

She never missed his birthdays.

She never forgot to call.

She never went to bed angry.

The night before she died, she had called him six times.

He missed every call because his phone battery had died.

That guilt followed him every single day.

---

Three months later...

David finally gathered the courage to pack up Zara's apartment.

Her clothes were still hanging in the wardrobe.

A half-read novel lay on the bedside table.

A cup of tea had dried beside the window.

It felt as if she had only stepped out for a few minutes.

While sorting through her belongings, David found her old smartphone hidden beneath a stack of books.

The screen was cracked.

The battery was dead.

After charging it for several hours, it finally came on.

The phone was locked.

But David knew her passcode.

His birthday.

The home screen appeared.

Photos.

Messages.

Nothing unusual.

Then he noticed something.

Voice Recorder – 1 Unplayed Recording.

Date:

The night Zara died.

His heart started pounding.

He pressed play.

At first, all he heard was the sound of rain.

Then Zara's shaky voice.

"David... if you're hearing this..."

The recording suddenly cut off.

Silence.

Only static.

David frowned.

He replayed it.

Again, it stopped at the exact same place.

He almost gave up.

Then he noticed something strange.

The recording wasn't twenty seconds long.

It was 11 minutes and 43 seconds.

But his phone played only the first fifteen seconds.

Someone...

Or something...

Had interrupted it.

---

The next morning, David took the phone to a technician.

The technician connected it to a computer.

After a few minutes, he looked up with a confused expression.

"This file has been tampered with."

David's heart skipped.

"What do you mean?"

"Someone deliberately corrupted the recording."

"But they didn't delete it completely."

"Most of it is still buried inside the file."

"I can recover it..."

He paused.

"But it'll take a few days."

David nodded.

As he turned to leave, the technician called him back.

"One more thing..."

"Whoever tried to destroy this recording... knew exactly what they were doing."

"People don't erase evidence like this unless they're terrified of what's inside."

David walked out, gripping the phone tightly.

For the first time since Zara's death...

He stopped believing it was an accident.

Because if it really was...

Why would anyone try so hard to silence her last words?
