🚨 PLEASE, if you sell anything online, read this.
One mistake I see people make all the time is releasing goods immediately someone sends a “payment screenshot.”
Please don't do it. 🙏
A screenshot can look very real and the money may still not be in your account.
I've learned that in business, you can't verify money with a screenshot. You verify it with the actual transaction.
Before you release that product, send the data, deliver the service or hand over anything valuable:
✅ Check your actual account balance
✅ Confirm the transaction on your banking/payment app
✅ Make sure the money has genuinely entered your account
❌ Don't rely only on “I've transferred it”
❌ Don't let anyone pressure you with “check your screenshot”
And honestly, don't feel bad about verifying.
It's your business. It's your money.
A genuine customer should understand.
Scammers are becoming smarter, so we also have to become smarter.
