A customer walks into your laundry shop.
Drop clothes.
You count, sort, tag…
Press, starch, dry, fold.
You write a receipt: ₦11,500.

Days pass. You’ve done the job.
You even used premium soap because the clothes were delicate.
Spent NEPA light, gen fuel, time, energy.

They return to pick up…
And say: "I don transfer ₦9,000. That’s all I get now."
Then smile with that pity face. 🥺

When you try to explain that the money is not complete,
They reply:
"Ah ah, no be just cloth?"
"You dey do like say na you open shop for yourself."
"If you no wan give me, keep am. I go come carry am later."

Dear Skilled Worker, Dry Cleaner, Tailor, Mechanic…
This is how we slowly go broke with full hands.
We work and still get cheated.

Emotional blackmail is NOT discount.
Pity face is NOT payment.
"Na wetin I get" is NOT a price tag.

You see that soap you used?
You bought it with YOUR money.
That water, power, hangers, starch, body pain, and sleepless nights?
You paid for all of it.

Nobody opened your shop for you.
Nobody understands your bills but YOU.

So don’t be ashamed to ask for your full money.
You’re not wicked.
You’re not proud.
You’re just protecting the same hustle they are trying to underprice.

Your hustle deserves respect.
Let them come with the full ₦11,500.
Or let the cloth rest in peace till they can. 🙏

To every skilled worker: You are not a beggar. You are a professional. Charge well. Stand firm. Collect your complete money.

It is not over until it over.

You can still get things done in a very short time, if you follow the below principles.

1. Thank God for where he's taken you from, where you are and where he's taken you to.
2. Appreciate and celebrate your little wins.
3. Do a personal check on yourself.
4. Retreat and fall back if you've over run out of your way.
